Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Gletcher TT-A CO2 Airsoft Tokarev is single action only, the blowback action cocks the hammer after each shot but you will need to either draw the hammer back or rack the slide on the first shot. I did find the the SAO trigger to be rather heavy for a single action type trigger? Perhaps it will loosen up a bit over time? The take-up is kind of long since there is no real reset that takes place after the hammer is drawn back. The release point is sudden but does take some effort to release the trigger.
Accuracy: So far I have only Field Tested the 4.5mm Steel BB version and of dun it shot in the upper 300 fps range with a pretty decent accuracy shooting a 10 shot group form 30 feet back all within 1.5 inches. Hopefully the Airsoft version can produce similar results...
Build Quality: The Gletcher TT-A CO2 Airsoft Tokarev is really nicely made overall, pretty much the entire pistol is metal except for the grips which are plastic of course. The finish looks really nice and the fit is good, not a lot of slide wiggle and all the mechanical parts function smoothly with the exception of the rather strange two piece trigger design. You really need to watch my video to see what I mean here!
Realism: I am lucky enough to own a Tokarev type semi auto real steel pistol and looking at the two of them side by side they look very much the same. Of course my Norinco Tokarev (Type 54) Model 213 is made out of hardened weapons grade steel and so it is heavier but the Gletcher TT-A CO2 Airsoft Tokarev does feel solid in the hand with it's all metal design. The working slide catch, magazine release and hammer are all in the right places and function as they should. Gletcher even made sure to have a recessed barrel and hidden CO2 screw which adds to the realism. The only real giveaways are again that rather strange looking single action trigger and the two pins near the lower front of the slide. Not a deal breaker!. I do have to mention the way the safety was implemented on this Gletcher TT-A CO2 Airsoft Tokarev, Gletcher placed it just inside the Slide Stop Retainer Clip in a kind of unobtrusive location.

So far I have liked all the Gletcher guns that I have come across, it's great that Gletcher offers a lot of unique guns from the past, for me the Tokarev is near and dear to my heart since it is very 1911 like and I truly love the 1911 design. It only makes sense that I would own not only a real steel 1911 but also the Russian Tokarev. I'm not really sure how the Gletcher TT-A CO2 Airsoft Tokarev is going to perform using the chronograph and during my paper target testing from 30 feet out but I am popgun ti will shoot a bit harder than the claimed 263fps and if it can get similar accuracy as the 4.5mm steel BB version that will be great!

It seems like I am forever reviewing some version of the KWC CO2 Blowback 1911 either in Airsoft or Steel BB or distributed by Cybergun or Gletcher or Umarex or pretty much every company out there has their own rebrand of it. At the end of the day they are all made in the KWC factory and are all interchangeable, you can even swap out the Airsoft parts with the steel BB part if you want to...
So how did we do in our See Can indoor Airgun Shooting test? As expected the Cybergun Colt 1911 Rail Gun Series CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol performed well. I placed 5 shots through my Chrony Chronograph using a brand new CO2 with .20 gram Airsoft BB's and averaged 373 fps which is about perfect for a full blowback CO2 Airsoft Pistol. If you're wondering the temperature was moderate at 16 Celsius or 61 Fahrenheit.
Next I placed 10 rounds downrange into my paper target 30 feet away using a rested position) Sand bag up front and sitting in the rear). My Cybergun Colt 1911 Rail Gun Series CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol was shooting a bit on the high side but the adjustable Bax Hop-up should allow for us to bring it down accordingly, that said my 10 shot grouping was just under 2 inches at 30 feet.
Even though I find myself reviewing or testing the various versions of the KWC 1911's. I don't really have a problem with it. They have been one of the most popular Blowback Airguns if not thee most popular and for a reason. They look and feel great, are reasonably priced, they perform well and have gotten more and more reliable over the years. All you ahed to do is pick which one of the Cybergun Colt 1911 Rail Gun Series CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistols you want?
First off let's get the fact that the Cybergun Sig Sauer SP2022 Sportline CO2 Airsoft Pistol is not going to win any awards for true to scale weight and materials used in its production. This Airsoft pistol is virtually all plastic with the exception of some internal metal parts. It weighs next to nothing but that could actually be a good thing if you don't want a heavy sidearm dragging you down on the field. Once you are all geared up with your primary weapon and all it's extra magazines and what not. And of course you are probably covered head to toe in some sort of tactical uniform, why drag yourself down even more with a heavy sidearm and all it's heavy backup magazines? Just a thought!
What's really important is how does the Cybergun Sig Sauer SP2022 Sportline CO2 Airsoft Pistol actually perform? Well really good for an inexpensive pistol and since there is no blowback operation you are going to get a lot more shots per CO2 and higher fps.
In terms of power, being non-blowback did seem to help out the Cybergun Sig Sauer SP2022 Sportline CO2 Airsoft Pistol. I got an average of 390 fps shooting 6 shots through my Chrony Chronograph. I was using .20 gram plastic Airsoft BB's with a brand new CO2 cartridge. The temperature was around 16-17 degrees Celsius which is around 62 degree Fahrenheit.
Next up I placed 10 rounds into my paper target setup 30 feet down range. From my seated and rested position I was able to get about a 2 inch grouping and all the shots where fairly well centered, just a tad to the left. This is good considering most lower priced Airsoft pistols are not going to have adjustable sights which is the same with the Cybergun Sig Sauer SP2022 Sportline CO2 Airsoft Pistol.
I got the chance to Field Test another 4.5mm Steel BB Air Rifle. Most of the time I'm testing out pistols so the opportunity to shoot some rounds through a rifle is a nice change. Todays Air Rifle test subject was the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 BB Air Rifle and by the way it also comes in a 6mm Airsoft version called the ASG TAC-6 CO2 Airsoft Rifle. Maybe down the road I will see how the 6mm Airsoft version compares to the 4.5mm Steel BB version...
Right out of the get go the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 BB Air Rifle surprised me with some rather high velocity shots going through my Chrony Chronograph. The highest FPS shot getting up to 538 fps and the slower shot which was the 5th shot slowing down a bit to 485 fps. My 5 shot average was still up and over 500 fps at 514 fps.
If you're worried about the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 BB Air Rifle being legal as an unregulated firearm in Canada, there is no need to be concerned since the 500 fps limitation also requires a foot pound energy of over 4.2 foot pounds for the airgun to require a firearms license (both thresholds must be met). A 4.5mm steel BB weighs in at around 5.1 grain and even with the fastest shot of 538 fps, the foot pound energy would only be 3.28 foot pounds so nope, no PAL required.
OK so the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 BB Air Rifle has some decent power, what about accuracy? Again the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 BB Air Rifle came through with flying colors! I was able to get about a 1 inch 10 shot grouping even though I was struggling to use the peep sight. My old eyes really find it hard to focus using a peep sight. I would suggest a red dot or even a low powered optical scope since the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 BB Air Rifle has a rail for this purpose. I did find that the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 BB Air Rifle shot a little bit low and slightly to the right. This can easily be corrected by adjusting the rear iron sight since it has windage and elevation settings.
The ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 BB Air Rifle would really be a great plinker even shooting objects at ranges up to 50 feet you should still be able to nail a pop can with no problems. The double action trigger is a bit long and not the lightest I have used but you can still get shots off fairly quickly. I have kind of already reviews this Cybergun Sig Sauer X-Five Blowback Airsoft pistol before but in the all black version with the non-adjustable sights. I'm kind of glad I did a revisit of this Stainless steel wood grip version since I actually got fairly different results even though both Airsoft Pistols are mechanically the same.
Yes accuracy went down a bit but with the Stainless Cybergun Sig Sauer X-five CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol but I still grouped my 10 shots within about 2 inches using my standard 30 foot back, rested shooting position. There will always be some human factor when shooting this way since the pistol is not locked into place and even though I am using a reseted seated position there is some movement going on.
Overall my retest showed that the Stainless Cybergun Sig Sauer X-five CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is well worth taking a look at. Personally I really like this Stainless wood grip version not only for its looks but for the simple fact it has a fully adjustable target sight on the back. Add heavy blowback operation and a very smooth single and double action trigger and this all makes for a great Airsoft Pistol.

Shooting Field Tests of blank guns are really pretty simple. There is no accuracy or chronograph test to consider since there is no bullet coming out of the barrel, kind of makes it hard in this case. This may even seem a little bit weird since what is there left to actually test? I guess as long as I pull the trigger and it goes "BANG" each time then we have ourselves a winner on our hands :)
I can attest that the ROHM RG-46 22 Caliber Blank Revolver was a clear winner on this day. I loaded 7 rounds into the 7 shot cylinder and then pulled the trigger 9 times. And as you can imagine the first 7 trigger pulls went "BANG" each pull while the last 2 trigger pulls went click-click as expected...
All fun aside the ROHM RG-46 22 Caliber Blank Revolver Field is a really nice quality blank revolver great for many situations like; Gun training, animal training, scaring off pests, stage or movie props or just collecting for fun.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the ROHM RG-46 22 Caliber Blank Revolver in single action is very light having virtually no take up at all. The double action trigger pull is much heavier with a smooth release. Mechanically the trigger feels really good.
Accuracy: NA. Build Quality: The overall build quality for the ROHM RG-46 22 Caliber Blank Revolver is excellent, being German made its built to last and the fit and finish is typical German quality. There are steel parts where they need to be like in the barrel, pins, screws and reenforcing parts, the rest of the gun is generally made out of a zinc metal with only the simulated wood grips being made out of plastic.
Realism: The ROHM RG-46 22 Caliber Blank Revolver is not an exact replica of any given gun in production as this would make importing it into Canada even more difficult, but it is styled after a Smith & Wesson Snub Nosed Revolver. As for looking like and working like a real gun, the ROHM RG-46 22 Caliber Blank Revolver looks and sounds like a real gun, with the exception of the dangerous bullet coming out of the barrel! Trigger Pull: the trigger on the KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle is what you would expect from a bolt action style hunting/sniper rifle. The working of the bolt does most of the work for your trigger finger so all that is required is the release of the firing pin from a very short and light tigger.

Comments: I have revised a couple of spring bolt action Airsoft rifles in the past and although it's nice that all you need is a bag of Airsoft BB's and your ready to shoot, having the Gas operation makes the bolt so much easier to operate allowing for much quicker follow up shoots. The more time you have to acquire your next target and make the shot can make all the difference when your enemy is closing in. The KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle is a nice ready to shoot out of the box Airsoft rifle that if you want to can be customized pretty easy with a bipod or scope which I would recommend since not only will this make the KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle look a lot better but also way more practical.

Trigger Pull: The double action only type trigger pull on the ASG TAC 4.5 CO2 Air Rifle is not too heavy but it is rather long so really quick rapped fire shooting will require some finger work. The trigger reset is right at the begging of the pull so you need to make sure you allow the trigger full range of motion or you may miss the odd shot.
Accuracy: I haven't done my Field Test Shooting video just yet for the ASG TAC 4.5 CO2 Air Rifle but hope to do it soon so stay posted for that video. ASG claimed the fps to be right around 417 but I have a feeling it shoudl come in a little bit higher than this since there is no blowback and the barrel is close to 12 inches long, With the fiber optic front sight and fully adjustable rear peep sight I shoudl be able to get some decent rounds on target downrange and hopefully get a nice grouping.
Build Quality: The ASG TAC 4.5 CO2 Air Rifle is mostly plastic but feels pretty good in the hand with decent fit and finish. There are some metal internal part along with the outer barrel but for the most part the ASG TAC 4.5 CO2 Air Rifle is all plastic including the trigger and front and rear sights.
Realism: The ASG TAC 4.5 CO2 Air Rifle is not a replica of any modern rifle that I know of but it does look a bit like a Beretta CX4 Storm especially the back half of it. The flash hider and top and bottom raise add to the realism. Available From: The Replica Airguns Store.

Comments: It's nice when a new action shooting air rifle comes out on the market since there are not a ton of them. The ASG TAC 4.5 CO2 Air Rifle is a nice addition if you're looking for a BB shooter for plinking around the yard. You can also get an Airsoft firing version too called the ASG TAC 6 CO2 Airsoft Rifle if you want to shoot some rounds that are a little bit less destructive and more game friendly. The ASG TAC 4.5 CO2 Air Rifle offers a lot of customizability with its top and bottom rails for accessories which allow for the placement of the included removable iron sights and Bipod. I would recommend adding a red dot sight and perhaps even a tac light to really dec out this modern looking air rifle.

I don't generally make unboxing videos, usually I'll make a preview video if I want to get the word out that I have a new product for review but I thought I would change things up a bit with the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 Air Rifle Unboxing Video. There are actually two version of this rifle, the TAC-4.5 and the TAC-6. The ASG TAC-6 CO2 Air Rifle is the Airsoft equivalent, pretty much identical to the TAC-4.5 with the acceptation of shooting 6mm Plastic Airsoft BB's.
Getting back to the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 Air Rifle, it uses a standard 12 gram CO2 cartridges to shoot 4.5mm Steel BB's at around 417 fps. The BB's are stored in its 21 round metal stick magazine similar to what you would find in many standard BB pistols. I'm pretty sure this rifle is actually internally a pistol of sorts and even the barrel internally is short like a pistol. The external longer barrel that you see is mainly for show to give the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 Air Rifle its rifle appearance. The TAC outer shell is made of synthetic plastic keeping the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 Air Rifle fairly light at around 3.5 pounds.
You will find Weaver/Picatinny rails top and bottom with removable fiber optic iron sights and a removable Bipod with adjustable legs. The rear stock has a rubber Buttplate for added comfort. I found it interesting that the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 Air Rifle has an area right at the front in the stock for an optional laser sight.

I'm trying to remember if I have ever reviewed a Gas Operated Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle before or not? I know I have reviewed Spring Operated Bolt Action Airsoft Rifles but I think this is a first for me. With Spring Bolt Action Airsoft Rifles there is some work involved in the back and forth movement of the bolt since the power is coming from the spring tension, compared to a Gas Bolt Action Airsoft system there is virtually no resistance in the bolt so you can get off your follow up shots a lot quicker.
I would like to get out and test the KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle at a much longer distance than here in my Indoor Sea Can Airgun Range but the weather outside right now is kind of cold and wet. Perhaps in the summer I can do a revisit of the KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle and test it out at amuch longer range using heavier Airsoft BB's.
For this indoor short range testing I used .20 gram Plastic Airsoft BB's and placing 5 shots through my Chrony Chronograph I got a an average of 382 fps. The gas magazine was fully topped up using propane gas and the temperate was around 15 degrees Celsius (60 degrees Fahrenheit).
Again using .20 gram Plastic Airsoft BB's I then performed my close range accuracy test (about 30 feet away) and the KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle shot about a 1.5 inch grouping with one outlier that went kind of low, perhaps a bad Airsoft BB? With most sniper style Airsoft rifles you will want to use heavier gram Airsoft BB's which should help with accuracy so I would expect the KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle to tighten up a bit using a .30 or higher gram BB.

In this Field Test Shooting Video I put the Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol through its paces to see what the fps velocity is and what kind of accuracy grouping we can get. Starting with power, I shot 5 rounds of .20 grain plastic Airsoft BB's through my Chrony Chronograph and average 410 fps, that's pretty fast for a blowback Airsoft pistol!
Next up was the accuracy portion of this shooting review and as I alway do here in my indoor Sea Can Shooting Range, I setup a paper target 30 feet away and shot from a seated stabilized position. I did find the Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol shot a bit high for me right out of the box without any hop-up adjustments. In terms of accuracy the Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol did not perform as well as I would have liked it to, perhaps a different ammo choice and or playing around with the hop-up may have helped but either way I got around a 7 inch 10 shot grouping. This is perfectly fine for close quarter combat but if you plan on hitting anything far away, the Airsoft BB is fast enough to get there but sniper accuracy is not going to happen.
Overall the Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol feels great to shoot, it has a really nice trigger and solid blowback action. Perhaps with a little bit of playing around with this quality Airsoft pistol I could get it to tighten up its grouping a little bit?

We must push forward and so here is my first video back and it's a good one! If you haven't already watched my Table Top Review of the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol, make sure to check it out for details and some nice up and close video of this fine dual ammo CO2 air pistol.
As always during my indoor Sea Can Field Test Shooting videos, I first test out the velocity of each gun. Since the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol can shoot both 4.5mm Steel BB's and .177 caliber pellets I tested both ammo types using my Chrony Chronograph. I fired three shots of each ammo to get an average fps velocity. Interestingly the heavier 6.9 grain lead pellets had the higher average velocity of 376 fps versus 304 fps with 5.1 grain Steel BB's. I have a feeling the lead pellets fit the barrel more snug and did not let any of the CO2 blow by creating more back pressure and a higher velocity.
After my velocity test I proceeded to find out which ammo type was going to be more accurate with the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol. Since each rotary magazine holds 8 rounds it made sense for me to put 8 shots of each ammo type into the paper target setup 30 feet away. Keep in mind the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol has a riffled barrel best suited for lead pellets so going into this test I was expecting the pellets to be the clear winner here.
I was able to get about a 2 inch 8 shot grouping using .177 caliber lead pellets with the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol. All shots where fairly well centered but I did notice that most shots actually hit all within a very tight 1/2 inch group with 3 shots coming out a bit and extending the grouping more or less vertically. Switching up the ammo to steel BB's and as expected the groupings extended to about 3 inches with one outlier hitting very wide for some reason? Even with the steel BB's shot placement on the target was well centered in general.
The blowback on the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol is very pronounced but does not rock your hands too much keeping this airgun on target between shots and the trigger is one of the best rotary mag type trigger I have tested to date, extremely smooth throughout the entire trigger pull. Overall the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol has great looks, decent power and good accuracy going for it and could perhaps be one of my top pics if you're looking for a blowback pellet pistol option.

What we have here is my first ever Sling Shot based review and even that is not the best description for the Pocket Shot but it's about as close as I can get and really the only product I can compare to the Pocket Shot is a Slingshot. Spoiler alert I think the Pocket Shot kicks but on most traditional Slingshot designs.

What makes the Pocket Shot different than a standard Slingshot. Mainly the Pocket Shot utilizes a rubber stretchy cup or pouch rather than standard rubber tubes used on Slingshots. The benefit to the Power Shot design is that it is way more compact and much easier and quicker to load since you simply drop your ammo into the cup, pull back and release. So no having to place your ammo into a small pouch with each shot. The Pocket Shot is also more powerful than most Slingshots on the market, you can expect to get up to 350 fps using a Pocket Shot as compared to apron 200 fps from a Slingshot.
Pocket Shot also sent me out there Pocket Hammer Handle that allows the regular Pocket Shot to convert into a more traditional Slingshot grip system. This setup adds a little bit more bulk to the Pocket Shot but allows for a much easier draw.
Another huge advantage to the Pocket Shot is the ability to even shoot arrows by simply adding on their Whisker Biscuit Cap. Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol is similar to most of the rotary magazine styled pellet pistols. The blowback operation does cock the hammer allowing for a lighter single action styled trigger pull but the trigger pull length is still about the same as shooting in double action. There is less trigger pull weight when the hammer is back shooting in single action but the first part of the trigger pull is necessary in order to rotate the magazine.
Build Quality: The Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol feel great in the hand and has a nice weight and solid feel to it. Like most modern day pistols the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol has a metal slide and polymer frame, you will also find a lot of internal metal parts along with a full size drop out metal magazine. Fit and finish are also very good.
Realism: The Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol is not a copy or replica of any actual real steel gun in production but to me it most resembles a Sig Sauer, not exactly as the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol does incorporate its own design and style. You will find a lot of real gun attributes that make this gun look and feel the deal. I have been waiting a while to get my hands on the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol and now that I have it for review I can say it seems to be a really well put together CO2 Blowback Airgun. OF course I still need to get some shooting in with it till I make my final decision but so far I am liking what I am seeing. Generally prefer actual Replica Airguns but the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol does have a really nice look and feel to it, I don't even mind the Gold barrel and I am usually not a big Gold Gun fan. The unique magazine design with its snap in rotary Pellet and BB magazines shoudl come in handy when it coms time for testing and the ability to shoot either Pellets or BB's does give the shooter more options.

I have been having a hard time getting my hands on the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol to do a review for everyone. It's been a rather low stock item. We have had it in a couple of times but not in a lot of quantity and since the demand has been higher than the supply the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol tends to be out of stock most of the time! Hopefully that changes in the future?

Here's what we know for now! The Umarex SA10 has a metal frame and polymer slide, it shoots both .177 caliber pellets and 4.5mm Steel BB's. The Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol has blowback action with a single and double action trigger and sports a full size drop out metal magazine that holds the CO2 and removable rotary 8 round magazines, 4 in total 1 ready for shooting and the other 3 on standby ready to be hot swapped. We should expect around 400 fps with lighter ammo and I am hoping for decent accuracy using pellets since the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol does have a rifled steel barrel.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol is Single Action Only and feels really good, it was much lighter than I expected and has a medium length take up, the reset positions the trigger fairly far back ready for quick follow-up shots. You'll also find a working trigger safety on this Airsoft Pistol which is a nice touch and ads to the realism.
Accuracy: At this point I have not shot the Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol, I imagine it should perform well considering it has an adjustable spin-up or hop-up along with a rear site that can be adjusted for windage. According to the manufacturers claimed fps, we should get around 438 fps using .20 gram Plastic Airsoft BB's. I will be a bit surprise if this Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol actually hits this rather high velocity but anything over 400 will be impressive.
Build Quality: Overall the Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol looks and feels really good. It has a nice weight to it but is not overly heavy. Everything feels tight and the finish looks great. the only thing I noticed that stood out a little bit was some flex in the forward part of the frame near the accessory rail. It seems to seperate just a little bit leaving a very slight gap and there is some flex here. I would not worry too much about this as it is not a structural consideration.
Realism: The Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol is a real ringer for the lead bullet firing version in almost every way and even has licensed trademarks on it through Cybergun but they are not exactly where you would find them on the real steel version, at least on the slide portion. Everything works like you would expect including full ambidextrous slide catch, safety, and magazine release. The most noticeable feature of the Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol is the claimed high FPS of 438 using .20 gram airsoft BB's. This seems kind of high for a full blowback Airsoft pistol but we will find out when I do my Filed Test Shooting Video Review for the Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol. Velocity aside the Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol is a very stylish gun, I have always been a Sig Sauer fan and it remind me a lot of the Sig brand but with a some more rounded finishing going on. The Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol has a lot going for it: Taurus Licensing, metal and polymer parts where you would expect them, fully ambidextrous working controls, adjustable rear sight for windage, adjustable hop-up, a working trigger safety, some power behind it and a full size double stack all metal magazine. It's also rather reasonably priced in our Replica Airguns Canada and US Online Store.
It was fun to shoot the Umarex Walther PPQ M2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol for a change but really it was a lot like shooting one of my BB and Airsoft pistols, except in this case I was shooting .43 caliber rubber balls. I decided to not use paintballs inside my nice new Sea Can Indoor Airguns Shooting Range to keep things clean :)
First, I put three rounds through my Chrony Chronograph to see what the real world FPS would be, keep in mind I was using rubber balls rather than paintballs and the rubber balls are a little bit heavier than paintballs so this could bring the FPS down a bit compared to the lighter paintballs. Using a brand new CO2, the Umarex Walther PPQ M2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol average 316 FPS which was high than the claimed 290 FPS!
Moving on to my accuracy testing, as per usual I positioned myself 30 feet back from my paper target and using a seated and rested shooting position I shot a full magazine (8 rounds) of rubber balls on target with the Umarex Walther PPQ M2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol. I was not expecting anything close to what I would get with a BB or Airsoft pistol since Paintball guns are not known for super tight groups. I did manage to shoot around a 6 inch group with most of the shots staying within around 3 inches. This is about what I was expecting as paintball guns are not meant for "target practicing", generally you are going to be shooting human sized objects and hoping to get some well placed center mass shots. 3-6 inch accuracy at 30 feet will get the job done for sure. I did find the trigger using rubber balls did have a bit more friction while the inner barrel seated itself into the magazine. When shooting quickly it is much less noticeable.
I know some of you are going to ask about using the Umarex Walther PPQ M2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol with rubber balls for non-lethal self defense and the reality is it will not stop a person who is persistent on hurting you. There is simply not enough stoping power here. Will it "sting like a bitch" if you get shot up close with one of these Umarex Walther PPQ M2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol? For sure but a well timed punch has more chance of dropping someone than a .43 caliber rubber ball moving at around 300 FPS. You may scare someone off simply by brandishing it but you take the chance of the person calling your bluff. Perhaps 8 rubber balls to the face will change their mind but that's a chance you have to figure out if you want to take or not.
As a paintball pistol, the Umarex Walther PPQ M2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol is about the best I have seen in terms of replica paintball guns. It is as good as they come for realism, even better than many BB and Airsoft guns and in terms of performance it did not let me down either.
