Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KWC DE L6 Desert Eagle CO2 Blowback Full Auto Airsoft Pistol is single action only which means you will need to rack the slide to not only draw the hammer back but to also chamber the first round. After that the blowback action will do this for you until you are out of ammo and then the slide will lock back. You can also manually draw the hammer back if a round is already chambered. The trigger itself is really nice, it’s light, super short with a crisp light release perfect for fast action shooting.
Accuracy: At this point I have not made my Field Test Shooting portion of my review for the KWC DE L6 Desert Eagle CO2 Blowback Full Auto Airsoft Pistol so I really don’t know what to expect? KWC claims an fps of 360 using CO2 as its power source and it is a realistic velocity based on previous Velocity tests with similar KWC Airsoft Guns. In terms of accuracy, again I have no idea since I have not reviewed this version of Desert Eagle before. So stay posted till next week when I make the Field Test Shooting Review for it.
Build Quality: Overall the metal and plastic build quality of the KWC DE L6 Desert Eagle CO2 Blowback Full Auto Airsoft Pistol is good. It is mostly metal with a plastic frame, the real steel version would have an aluminum frame and has a weight closer to 4 pounds total so a bit lighter in terms of weight compared to the powder burning version. The fit and finishes look good.
Realism: The KWC DE L6 Desert Eagle CO2 Blowback Full Auto Airsoft Pistol is an excellent Replica Airsoft version of the real steel L6 Desert Eagle including the top and bottom rails and the ported front barrel. It also has full blowback action and you can fully field strip it. I like the addition of the fingered grips which I think adds ot the overall looks and function of this Airsoft Pistol.
Pros:
Lots of metal and good overall weight to it.
Very accurate replica of Desert Eagle L6.
Ergonomic rubberized grips.
Semi and full auto selectable.
Adjustable hop-up.
No orange tip.
CO2 for more power over GBB.
Uses standard KWC CO2 Desert Eagle magazines.
Picatinny rail top and bottom for lots of accessory mounting options.
Great light weight single action only trigger with super short take-up.
Cons:
Frame is plastic so compared to real steel version is much lighter.
Non adjustable sights, also all black so may be hard to see on darker targets.
No trademarks since non-licensed version via KWC direct.
Very large gun with large grips so not suitable for smaller handed shooters.
Comments: Going off just the looks and feel for the KWC DE L6 Desert Eagle CO2 Blowback Full Auto Airsoft Pistol I can say for sure I do like it compared ot the standard KWC Desert Eagle with its venting up front and its ergonomic rubberized grips. I hope when I perform the Field Test Shooting Video fo fit it it performs well as the price point is good at around $200 Canadian and who doesn't want to have a Desert Eagle in their Replica Airgun collection at the end of the day!
My Table Top Video of the KWC DE L6 Desert Eagle CO2 Blowback Full Auto Airsoft Pistol:
In this Preview Unboxing Video I take a look at three new products just listed in our Replica Airguns Store. Two are products from Umarex both being CO2 4.5mm Steel BB and one is a CO2 powered KWC Blowback Airsoft Pistol. I don’t go into a ton of detail in this video but go over what is listed on the box and a quick walk around of each product.
First up I show off the KWC DE L6 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol, it is much like the Cybergun Desert Eagle L6 I reviewed but without the orange tip and with notched pistol grips, also all back which is classic and looks great. This Blowback pistol shoots 6mm Airsoft BB’s at around 360 fps and has a full size dropout metal magazine that holds the CO2 along with 21 rounds.
Next I showcase a rather entry level 4.5mm CO2 BB Pump Action Rifle called the Umarex NXG Pump Shot that is a mostly plastic lighter weight build perfect for smaller or younger shooters. It uses CO2, shoots 4.5mm Steel BB’s and comes with a drop out 10 round rotary magazine. You will have to pump it before each shot but this makes the trigger fairly light.
Lastly but perhaps my favorite in this lineup I take a look at the CO2 4.5mm Blowback Umarex Legends M3 Grease Gun. Just like the real steel .45 caliber Grease Gun it is capable of full auto and also shoots in semi auto. You will find a full size drop out metal magazine that holds two CO2 cartridges along with 60 4.5mm steel BB’s. Thats a lot of rounds!
In this Field test Shooting Video I Test out the Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle in the Replica Airguns Indoor Airgun Shooting Range to find out what kind of velocity we can achieve using standard .20 gram Plastic Airsoft BB’s. I also shoot 10 rounds in semi auto at my paper target 30 feet down range to see what kind of grouping I can get and then switch it over to full auto and let her rip till I am basically out of ammo and see if I can punch a nice hole in my cardboard backed target. If you are looking for more details and specification along with some closer up video then make sure to watch my Table Top Review Video for the Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle.
Starting with my velocity test, I shot 5 rounds through my Chronograph using .20 gram Plastic Airsoft BB’s with the preinstalled spring and got an average of 402 fps with my lowest velocity being 400 and my highest velocity being 405 so really close in fps. You can tone down the Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle a bit b y installing the M90 Spring if you find the fps to be a bit high for close quarter battles.
For the accuracy portion of this Field Test Shooting Review I proceeded to fire 10 semi auto rounds into a paper target setup 30 feet away. I use a semi rested shooting position with the Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle resting on a sand bag up front and me sitting on a stool for stability. My 10 shot grouping was all within around 1 to 1.5 inches which is very good for an Airsoft Rifle shooting lighter Plastic BB’s. I then switched the selector into “fun mode” (Full Auto) and proceeded to hold the trigger down until I ran out of spring tension on the High Cap Magazine. I would say I got through around 100+ rounds with most of them making about a 2 inch hole in my target consisting of cardboard and of course the paper target in front of it.
I have reviewed the Specula Arms line of Airsoft Rifles in the past, both the Core and the Edge and they really are great Airsoft Guns. The Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle as expected lived up to my expectations and performed really great in this Field Test Shooting Video. If you like this model also make sure to checkout the other models Specna Arms Offers over in our Replica Airguns Canada and US Online Stores.
This time I have a tiny Mystery Box to unpack and show you guys, this time there are only two pistols, one is a Spring Piston Single Shot .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol and the other is a 6mm Airsoft Blowback BB Pistol, both are Licensed Replicas for Umarex. If you want to find out more about each Air Pistol then make sure to watch this Mystery Box Unboxing Preview Video!
This will be my only video this week as I am in what is called Peak Week in preparation for the Vancouver Fall Calssic Fitness show I am competing in this upcoming weekend. Peak Week really takes a lot out of me and is rather time consuming with the physical activity I am doing and daily blog styled videos I am posting for my other channel www.GetFitOver40.com.
If you are interested in what I do fitness wise then checkout that channel and follow me along this week as I hope to kick some but competing against dudes half my age.
Type: AEG Airsoft Rifles Manufacturer:Specna Arms. Model:Core SA-C07-PDW Materials: Fiberglass reenforced plastic and metal/aluminum. Weight: 5.27 pounds ( 2.39 kg). Total Length: 27.2 - 30.3 inches (690 - 770mm). Barrel: 10.63 inch (270) inner 6.03mm tight bore barrel non rifled. Propulsion: AEG. Action: Single action semi & full auto. Ammunition Type: .6mm plastic Airsoft BB’s. Ammunition Capacity: High cap 380 round magazines. FPS: 380 fps with installed spring, included M90 spring will be lower fps.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle is similar to a light single action trigger as they are essentially an electrical on off switch. There is a little bit of take up with virtually no extra friction to let you know when the release is going to be, with a bit of use you will figure out exactly when the trigger will release the action.
Accuracy: At this time I have not made my Field Test Shooting Video or even shot the Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle, but plan to very soon. You can checkout a previous video where I test out both Specna Arms RRA SA-C10 Core and E10 Edge which should perform similarly to the Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle
Build Quality: One thing I can say is no matter which version of the Specna Arms AEG Air Rifles you deicide to go with (either a Core or Edge Series), you are getting extremely good value for your money and neither one is going to have any low quality parts in it. Even the lower cost Core Series will have fiber glass reenforced plastic and metal parts along with a metal gearbox and virtually almost the same build as the more premium and slightly higher priced Edge Series. You will get upgrades in the Edge Series such as a an aluminum receiver and buffer tube, a GATE X-ASR Mosfet, the New Orion Gearbox, deep laser engraved licensing and an additional magazine. All of this for the little bit more you pay for an Edge series Specna Arms AEG Airsoft rifle.
Realism: The Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle is based on the AR15 or M16 platform of course in a very modern and PDW styled look. It looks and feels the part for sure with lots of working parts including the safety, selector switch, charging handle, dust cover, adjustable rear stock, pop-up front and rear sights as you would expect. Most of the hardware should be interchangeable with a real steel AR if you want to personalize the look of your Specna Arms Rifle.
Pros:
Super affordable yet very high quality product for what you pay.
Quality components throughout both the Core and Edge series.
Rock River Arms Licensed with hologram on receiver.
ESA™ quick spring change system makes spring changes quick and easy.
Comes with two springs for potential indoor and outdoor usage.
Plastic parts are fiberglass reenforced making them very durable.
Quick release fully adjustable pop-up sights.
No orange tips on our Canada Store versions.
Lots of rial mounting options even on such a short PDW styled AR.
Metal V2 Gearboxes with metal gears and mostly all metal parts inside.
Easy access to motor for any possible trouble shooting you any need to do
Cons:
Plastic receiver.
Need to hold back charging handle to access hop-up.
You will need a very compact battery setup with most Specna Arms models.
Comments:
Value for your money is what comes to mind when I think about the entire Specna Ams AEG Airsoft Riffle product line, especially with the Core series. The Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle is probably one of my more favorite versions as I really like PDW style compact AR’s in general. You will have to make sure you have on hand a very compact battery as space is extremely limited but other than that one main downside to this style of AEG everything else about it for the money is bang on and worth any slight compromises.
My Vimeo Table Top Review for the Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle:
I have another Huge Mystery Box to open and share with everyone, this one was even larger and heavier than the last one! You are going to have to watch the video to get all the details on what is actually inside but I can say there are 4 AEG Airsoft Rifles from a new to us company called Arcturus in both AR and AK versions and 2 CO2 Non Blowback Replica Pellet Pistols from KWC.
I do have a some more videos to make from the last Mystery Box Preview being a Specna Arms AEG PDW AR Airsoft Rifle and a Paintball Pump Shotgun that I still need to make both Table Top and Field Test Shooting Video for.
As the title suggest this a video about a Huge Mystery Box so I am not going to say what’s in it, I can say that their are 4 main products mostly rifles per-say. One is a Futuristic Full Auto BB Rifle, one is a Paintball Shotgun, One is an AEG Airsoft Rifle and one is a Replica Break Barrel Pellet Rifle.
So I have a lot of variety here to show everyone! I did absolutely zero research on any of the products I show in this video since like you I had no real idea what was inside other than how many and that most where rifle based.
Enjoy finding out what new products I will be reviewing over the next month with dedicated Table Top and Field Test Shooting videos.
There are many types of magazines used in Airguns and some of this is dependent on the ammunition used.
For instance a stacked type of magazine often used for Steel BB and Airsoft can not be used for Pellets as pellets tend to deform when stacked in such a way since there is no metal casting protecting them from mashing into each other.
So what type of magazines do we generally see in Airguns? The most common Airgun magazines are as follows:
Simple Stick Magazine
Mostly used with Steel BB but also found in some Airsoft Airguns.
Some Pellet Airguns use a type of stick magazine with a rotary magazine on each end.
Used in non-blowback and blowback Airguns.
Can be made from plastic or steel or a combination of both materials.
Full Size Drop Out Magazine
Used with Steel BB and Airsoft guns.
Generally you will find these types magazines hold both the BB’s and CO2.
Used in non-blowback and blowback Airguns.
Commonly used with Airsoft Rifles in mid to high capacity.
Can be made from plastic or steel or a combination of both materials.
Rotary magazine
Used with Steel BB, Airsoft and Pellet Airguns.
Used in non-blowback and blowback Airguns.
Can be made from plastic or steel.
Can often use mixed ammo types as in both 4.5mm Steel BB and .177 caliber pellet.
Belt Fed Magazine
Like rotary magazine belt fed magazine can accommodate Steel BB, Pellet and Airsoft but are most often used with Pellet Airguns.
Usually found in a full size magazine that also holds the CO2.
Used in non-blowback and blowback Airguns.
Can be made from plastic or steel or a combination of both materials.
Internal Magazine
Used with Steel BB, Airsoft.
Can have a hopper built in hat feeds a spring fed magazine.
Usually found in lesser expensive Airguns but not a rule.
In this Video I go through each type of Airgun Magazine and talk about their differences and uses.
I have another Full Auto Fun Video this one focusing on 4.5mm Steel BB Versus 6mm Plastic and which one is better in terms of accuracy and shredding power. I perform this super scientific test by shooting obviously in full auto two comparable Steel BB and Plastic Airsoft Rifles at a paper target setup 20 feet away with a magazine as a backer so I can see what the accuracy is like and how much of the paper magazine gets shredded by each ammo being tested.
I have split this video into three separate videos, in video one I compare two similar AR styled rifles, a CO2 powered Blowback 4.5mm BB Rifle to a Gas Blowback 6mm Airsoft Rifle. In video two I compare two AK type Blowback Rifles to each otters, again a CO2 4.5mm Steel BB along with a Gas 6mm Airsoft.
And lastly in Video three I compare my top picks for each category which include a non-Blowback CO2 4.5mm BB Machine gun to an AEG 6mm Airsoft Rifle.

For this Video 2 Accuracy Test I shoot all of the above listed Airguns at a paper target setup 30 feet down range using a semi rested shooting position with my hands resting on a sand bag up front and seated on a stool in the back. It’s not perfect but works well enough. I didn’t take a ton of time with each gun since there where 4 to shoot in this Field Test Shooting Video so accuracy may have been a bit better if I took a little more time with each gun.
In Video 2 I test the power and penetration of each Airgun option shooting at a pop can, a soup can and a toilet paper roll so make sure to watch that video if you have not already watched it.
For this Video 1 Power Test I shoot all of the above listed Airguns first at a pop can, then a soup can and then a toilet paper roll. The ides is to test penetration abilities with the pop and soup can and then raw force shooting the toilet paper as it will absorb all the energy from each airgun round and by gauging how much the toilet paper reacts or moves it should tell us which airgun has the most raw power or energy.
In Video 2 I will be testing accuracy using my standard 30 round paper target setup in the Replica Airguns Sea Can so stay posted for that upcoming video shortly…
Type:Arrow Rifle. Manufacturer: Umarex Model:AirSaber Elite X2. Materials: Metal and Polymer. Weight: 8.7 pounds (3.9kg). Air Tank: 4000 PSI - 240cc. Barrel: Double barrel system. Propulsion: PCP (Compressed Air). Action: Side cocking - Single action trigger. Ammunition Type: 350 grain Arrows. Ammunition Capacity: 2. Max FPS: 450 Claimed.
Trigger Pull: The trigger on the Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel PCP Arrow Rifle is single action only requiring you to engage the side cocking latch system before you can shoot it. You will also be required to manually select the barrel using the side mounted cross bolt between shots. The trigger feels pretty light in general since it is a single action only trigger but it does have a fair amount take-up and creep before releasing.
Accuracy: I have not performed any shooting tests with the Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel PCP Arrow Rifle as of yet and I am not sure if I will since this product does require a high powered crossbow type backstop which I do not have at this time. I want to make sure I have a safe shooting environment before unleashing 169 foot pounds of energy downrange. I would imagine since the Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel PCP Arrow Rifle is designed more for mid to large game hunting that it will be accurate out to mid and long ranges, of course you will need to practice at the ranges you will be shooting at to know how the arrow will fly and how much elevation you will need to to adjust for.
Build Quality: The Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel PCP Arrow Rifle is really well built and solid coming in at 8.7 pounds. For it’s size it is not heavy since it ustilizes a combination of metal, aluminum and polymer. All the mechanical parts feel high quality and reactive.
Realism: The Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel PCP Arrow Rifle is not a replica of any real steel gun in production since it is a hunting rifle through and through. It is rifle shaped of course since that is what we have gown accustomed to using and so why change the main design. If you have used a rifle before then you will have no problem using the Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel PCP Arrow Rifle as it is more of a rifle and less of a bow or crossbow to use. It just happens to shoot arrow rather than bullet.
Pros:
Canada non PAL Airgun with enough power to hunt medium to larger game!
Overall price point is good, nothing like this to compare to.
Arrows are propelled from the front, so no archers paradox when aiming.
Arrows come with field tip arrows but can be unscrewed and replaced with broad tip arrow heads for hunting.
Easy to use cross bolt safety on trigger.
Pistol grip allows for easy hold and control.
Fit and finish is excellent.
PCP for more power and consistency than CO2.
Picatinny rails on top for scope, sides and bottom for other accessories.
Rubber butt-plate for added comfort.
Improved easy to use side cocking system.
Double barrel allows for quick follow up shot.
Higher PSI for high power with same amount of shots as older single barrel AirSaber.
Cons:
Need a pump or other compressed air-fill system.
Will require a proper backstop system to practice safety with.
Arrows are not cheap so make sure of your shots.
Comments: The Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel PCP Arrow Rifle is a really unique product that allows virtually anyone to be able to hunt even larger game without a firearms license in Canada. It is not really a riffle or a crossbow, it is it’s own creation that takes the best of a rifle and the best from archery combining both into an easy to learn and use way to be able to hunt proficiently and perhaps even in areas rifles are not allowed to go. For the extra $100 or so I would recommend the Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel version over the original single version barrel but both will get the job done at the end of the day since usually your first shot is your only shot.
In this Field Test Shooting Video I go outside for a bit of a change and test out the Beeman Longhorn II 10611 .177 .22 Break Barrel Pellet Rifle Combo to see what the real world velocity is and what kind of accuracy I can expect shooting at much further out ranges than my Sea Can Airgun Range offers me. If you want to know more about specifications and details for this Break Barrel Spring Piston Air Riffle make sure to watch my Table Top Video for information along with more closeup video.
Starting with the velocity for the Beeman Longhorn II 10611 .177 .22 Break Barrel Pellet Rifle Combo, Beeman claims up to 495 fps but does not say weather thesis for the .22 or .177 caliber barrel? I placed 5 rounds through my Chronograph using the .22 Caliber barrel option and was able to average 432 fps using 14.3 grain lead pellets which gave me an energy of 5.93 foot pounds. I would say it is safe to say that you can hit close to the claimed velocity of 495 fps with .22 Caliber lead pellets but would need to be using a bit light grain pellets closer to around 10 or 11 grain. I did not test .177 caliber pellets but they are even lighter and will have an even higher velocity most likely be over 500 fps.
While I was testing velocity to make things more efficient I also placed my shots on a paper target setup around what I estimate to be around 80 feet down range. Now I admit I am not the best long range shooter especially with Spring Piston Air Rifles but I was able to get around a 4 inch grouping at this distance with two shots on top of each other and the other three where more sporadic but I’m pretty sure the spreed was mostly because of my shooting skills with a rifle like this. I was using the provided Beeman 4x30 optical scope for this test rather than the open sights. My pellet choice was .22 Caliber Crosman Premier Hollow Point 14.3 grain lead Pellets.
What I like about the Beeman Longhorn II 10611 .177 .22 Break Barrel Pellet Rifle Combo is for sure the smooth trigger, the ability to change barrel to either .177 Caliber or .22 Caliber and I like the feel of the stock with its modern look and pistol grip for a comfortable hold. I was not a fan of the 4x30 scope as it seemed a bit fuzzy to me, maybe the optics where off on mine as the other Beeman 4x30 scope that came with the 1042 I tested was super crisp? Lastly I have to say the break barrel on this spring piston does take some arm strength so if you are smaller or not as strong then you may have difficulty cocking the Beeman Longhorn II 10611 .177 .22 Break Barrel Pellet Rifle Combo. All in all it’s a good overall springer with lots of features for a relatively low cost.
In this Field Test Shooting Video I get outside for a change and test out the Beeman 1042 .22 Caliber Break Barrel Pellet Rifle to see what the actual velocity is and what kind of accuracy I can expect shooting at much further ranges than my Sea Can Airgun Range can offer. If you want to know more about specifications and details for this Break Barrel Air Riffle make sure to watch my Table Top Video for information along with more closeup video.
Starting with the velocity for the Beeman 1042 .22 Caliber Break Barrel Pellet Rifle, Beeman claims up to 475 fps but based on how light the spring feels when cocking this Airgun I was not expecting to get that high of fps. I placed 5 rounds through my Chronograph and was able to average 361 fps using 14.3 grain lead pellets which gave me an energy of 4.14 foot pounds. This isn’t bad in terms of energy but I would not suggest this Air Rifle for pest control because of the lower fps unless you are shooting really small pests at closer ranges.
While I was testing velocity to speed things up I also placed the same rounds on my paper target setup around I would say 80 feet down range (Best guess). Keep in mind I am not the best long range shooter especially with Spring Piston Air Rifles but I was able to get around a 3 inch 5 shot grouping at this distance with three of the shoots all within about 1 inch of each other so not bad for me. I was using the provided Beeman 4x30 optical scope which was nice and crips. My pellet choice was .22 Caliber Crosman Premier Hollow Point 14.3 grain lead Pellets.
What I like about the Beeman 1042 .22 Caliber Break Barrel Pellet Rifle is the easy to cock break barrel, the optical scope, the nice wood finish and its overall performance. I did feel the trigger was a bit heavy and it would be nice to have just a bit more power but that would come at a harder to cock break barrel. If you want an easy shooting and overall good looking lower cost Spring Piston Pellet Rifle in .22 caliber then I would recommend the Beeman 1042 .22 Caliber Break Barrel Pellet Rifle for sure!
Type:Pellet Rifle. Manufacturer: Beeman Model:1042. Materials: Metal and Wood. Weight: 8.7 pounds (3.9kg). Barrel: 16 inches (40.6mm). Propulsion: Spring Piston. Action: Single Action Single Shot. Ammunition Type: .22 Caliber Pellets. Ammunition Capacity: 1. Max FPS: 475 Claimed.
Trigger Pull: The trigger on the Beeman 1042 .22 Caliber Break Barrel Pellet Rifle is single action only requiring you to break the barrel and compress the internal spring piston before you can shoot it. This will also engage the safety which you have to disengage for each shot manually as an added safety measure. The actual trigger pull is fairly short and light. There is about 2mm of take-up and then a crisp short release with virtually no creep. The trigger is not adjustable but it feels nice as is.
Accuracy: I have not performed any shooting tests with the Beeman 1042 .22 Caliber Break Barrel Pellet Rifle as of yet, I hope to make that Video Review next week “weather permitting” as I want to get outdoors for this test to be able to shoot it at longer ranges. I expect the Beeman 1042 .22 Caliber Break Barrel Pellet Rifle to perform well in the accuracy department using the 4x32 optical scope. In terms of power I did notice that the spring does seem ot be fairly light weight so I am wondering I fi will get close to the claimed 475 fps using .22 caliber lead pellets.
Build Quality: The Beeman 1042 .22 Caliber Break Barrel Pellet Rifle is a China made Air Rifle but looks to be well made. It is mostly metal with a European hardwood stock and feels good to hold resting the rubber butt-pad to your shoulder. I would have lied to have seen the trigger guard being made out of metal rather than plastic.
Realism: The Beeman 1042 .22 Caliber Break Barrel Pellet Rifle is not a copy of any real steel gun in production but does have that overall rifle shape to it so yet it looks like a gun but most people will be able to immediately see that it is a Pellet Rifle and that is exactly what it is since it is not trying to be anything other than that.
Pros:
Nice European hardwood ambidextrous stock.
Ported Muzzle Break is looks goos and may enhance performance a bit.
.22 caliber with close to 500fps so as much energy as you can get without a firearms license in Canada.
Sport trigger with autumn safety system.
Comes with included 4x32 scope and mounts.
Very solid build at 8.7 pounds.
Nice rubber butt-plate looks good and adds to shooting comfort.
Has a scope stop so your scope will stay nicely in place.
Cons:
Does not come with included iron sights.
Really hard to find this exact gun for info, not even on Beeman’s website.
Made in China.
Comments: The Beeman 1042 .22 Caliber Break Barrel Pellet Rifle is a very affordable Break Barrel Spring Piston Pellet Rifle with a really nice European hardwood ambidextrous stock. I like that it has that clean look with no iron sights but rather the included 4x32 optical scope which I am sure will really help with accuracy at further out distances. I hope my Field Test Shooting Video for the Beeman 1042 .22 Caliber Break Barrel Pellet Rifle will do it justice as a target rifle, I am not sure if this one will be any good for pest control as I have my concerns about the fps but will find this out shortly.
Type:Pellet Rifle. Manufacturer: Beeman Model:Longhorn II 10611. Materials: Metal and Polymer. Weight: 8.5 pounds (3.77kg). Barrel: 18 inches (45.7mm). Propulsion: Spring Piston. Action: Single Action Single Shot. Ammunition Type: .177 and .22 Caliber Pellets. Ammunition Capacity: 1. Max FPS: 495 Claimed.
Trigger Pull: The trigger on the Beeman Longhorn II 10611 .177 .22 Break Barrel Pellet Rifle is single action only requiring you to break the barrel and compress the internal spring piston before you can shoot it. This will also engage the safety which you have to disengage for each shot manually as an added safety measure. The actual trigger pull is pretty good overall. There is very little take-up but the creep is on the longer side but very smooth not requiring too much pressure. The release is also smooth but will take a bit of time to learn just exactly when it is going to release. There is an adjustment screw for the trigger but it is not advertised or explained in the manual exactly how this effects the trigger pull so a bit of trial and error may improve the trigger feel.
Accuracy: I have not performed any shooting tests with the Beeman Longhorn II 10611 .177 .22 Break Barrel Pellet Rifle so far, I hope to make that Video Review next week “weather permitting” as I want to get outdoors for this test to be able to shoot it at longer ranges. I expect the Beeman Longhorn II 10611 .177 .22 Break Barrel Pellet Rifle to perform well in the accuracy department especially with the 4x32 optical scope installed. In terms of power I did notice that the spring does seem ot be fairly strong so I am hoping to get close to the claimed 495 fps even using .22 caliber heavier grain pellets.
Build Quality: The Beeman Longhorn II 10611 .177 .22 Break Barrel Pellet Rifle is a China made Air Rifle but looks to be well made. It is mostly metal other than the synthetic modern stock, even the iron fiber optic sights are full metal front and back. I am not a big fan of the stock texture patter but it does work to add extra grip.
Realism: The Beeman Longhorn II 10611 .177 .22 Break Barrel Pellet Rifle is not a copy of any real steel gun in production but does have that overall rifle shape to it so yet it looks like a gun but most people will be able to immediately see that it is a Pellet Rifle and that is exactly what it is since it is not trying to be anything other than that.
Pros:
Comes with two barrels for .177 and .22 caliber pellets.
Comes with included 4x32 scope and ring mounts.
Durable synthetic stock with modern look and pistol grip.
Can also shoot using included iron metal fiber optic adjustable sights.
Automatic trigger safety system.
Rated at 495 fps using .22 caliber pellets so top out at max Canada legal power without a firearms license.
Nice rubber butt-pad looks good and adds to shooting comfort.
Has a scope stop so your scope will stay nicely in place.
Really well priced for what you get which is two rifles one.
Cons:
Changing out barrels does require tools.
Not a big fan of the stock texturing pattern.
Made in China.
Comments: The Beeman Longhorn II 10611 .177 .22 Break Barrel Pellet Rifle is a very affordable Break Barrel Spring Piston Pellet Rifle that offers two Airguns in one with it’s interchangeable barrel system allowing you to shoot either .177 or .22 Caliber pellets. You also have the option of using the already installed Fiber Optic fully adjustable sights or you can install the included 4x32 Optical Scope for potential longer range shooting. The modern looking synthetic stock with it’s pistol grip and rubber butt-pad will make shouldering this Air Rifle super comfortable and I would imagine help with accuracy at the end of the day.
Type:Airsoft Rifle. Manufacturer: Tokyo Marui. Model:CQBR Block1. Materials: Metal and Polymer. Weight: 9.97 pounds (4.52kg). Barrel: 9.84 inches (250mm). Propulsion: Gas Blowback. Action: Semi & Full Auto - SAO trigger. Ammunition Type: .6mm plastic Airsoft BB’s. Ammunition Capacity: 35 Max FPS: 350 Tested (.20 gram).
Trigger Pull: The trigger on the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle is single action only so the charging handle will need to be engaged on your first shot un less the bolt is already back for a preview empty magazine and reload. The trigger is light and short with virtual no makeup but then just a bit of creep before releasing the internal striker and firing a round.
Accuracy: I did already perform my Field Test Shooting Video for the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle so I do have some information to share relating to the shooting abilities of this Gas Blowback Airsoft Rifle. During my Velocity Chronograph Test I was able to average 332 fps using .20 gram Airsfot BB’s with my highest velocity shot hitting 350 fps. My 10 shot grouping at 30 feet away yielded a 1.5 inch spread and when I placed the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle in full auto it did open up a fair amount since the blowback action really rocks this gun around a lot making full auto shooting spread out much monroe than semi auto shooting but still so much fun to shoot in full auto :). You can watch my full Field Test Shooting Video here!
Build Quality: The build quality of the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle is one of the highest out there with high quality metal parts throughout this GBB AIrsfot Rifle both inside and out. Some of the internals include a heavy duty 19mm blowback piston, New mechanism Z-system to prevent wear and tear of bolt catch, piston absorber and friction relief bolt roller to reduce the burden on internal parts due to bolt operation.
Realism: The Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle is a near perfect replica of a Colt licensed AR 15 and Tokyo Marui has a ton of detail to the fit and finish including the unique and multiple finishes on the external parts: The rail hand guard, front sight, and stock reproduce the difference in FDE color tone applied to each part as in the real thing. The metal rail hand guard reproduces the color by alumite treatment with excellent scratch resistance. In addition, the upper / lower frame and bolts are made of Ceracoat, which has a strong coating film and excellent scratch resistance.
Pros:
Super high quality GBB Airsoft Rifle.
Bolt locks back for easy hop-up adjustments.
Very heavy blowback operation.
Lots of metal parts, mostly everything except the stock, fore grip and pistol grip.
Lots of mounting points with it’s quad rail setup.
Awesome internals: Heavy duty 19mm blowback piston, New mechanism Z-system to prevent wear and tear of bolt catch, piston absorber and friction relief bolt roller to reduce the burden on internal parts due to bolt operation.
Attention to detail goes beyond expectation! Color reproduction and special surface treatment is a good example of this.
Easy to mount a sling with it’s QD tactical sling mounts on handguard, lower receiver, and stock.
Adjustable hop-up as expected.
6 portion rear stock.
Removable and fully adjustable rear sight.
Great for close and mid range shooting situations with a 350 average fps using .20 gram BB’s.
Accuracy was good at 30 feet getting around a 1.5 inch 10 shot grouping.
Cons:
My magazine did not seem to seal very well in the nozzle area when filling with propane but mag seemed to fill OK, just seemed to waste a bit of gas while filling.
Heavy blowback makes full auto accuracy move around a fair amount.
Pretty much have sue the included magazine filling tube to load BB’s in the magazine sop will need ot be carried with you in a game.
On the very high end of the price spectrum.
Comments: I am a bit of a sucker for Blowback Airguns in general whether it be Pistol, Rifle, BB, Pellet, Paintball or Airsoft. So right out of the box I loved the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle with its heavy blowback recoil. All that aside the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle is one of the highest quality Gas Blowback AR 15 type Airsoft Rifles you will be able to get your hands on assuming if you can find it in stock. It is a near perfect Airsoft Replica of a real steel Colt AR with only the best finishes and parts available for such a GBB Rifle.
Type:Airsoft Rifle. Manufacturer: Sig Sauer Model:ProForce MCX Virtus. Materials: Metal and Polymer. Weight: 7 pounds (3kg). Barrel: 11.6 inches (295mm). Propulsion: AEG. Action: Semi & Full Auto - SAO Electronic trigger. Ammunition Type: .6mm plastic Airsoft BB’s. Ammunition Capacity: 120 (Mid cap). Max FPS: 408 Tested (.20 gram).
Trigger Pull: The trigger on the Sig Sauer ProForce MCX Virtus AEG Airsoft Rifle is essentially a Single Action Only electric on off switch that can allow for semi and full auto shooting along with a safety position based on the sector switch position. Because of this it is fairly short and light weight. There can be a slight delay from the time you pull the trigger to when the BB is released as since the electric motor needs to first pull back the internal spring before being released. A higher voltage battery will shorten the time between your trigger pull and the Airsoft BB release. Higher voltage battery also increases the full auto cycle rate.
Accuracy: I did already perform my Field Test Shooting Video for the Sig Sauer ProForce MCX Virtus AEG Airsoft Rifle so I do have some information to share relating to the shooting abilities of this AEG Airsoft Rifle. During my Velocity Chronograph Test I was able to average 408 fps using .20 gram Airsfot BB’s, that was using the out of the box installed 120 spring. In terms of accuracy, my 10 shot grouping at 30 feet away yielded a 1.5 inch spread and when I placed the Sig Sauer ProForce MCX Virtus AEG Airsoft Rifle in full auto it did not open up that much more, only to around 2 inches since there is virtually no recoil to throw off full auto shot placement. You can watch my full Field Test Shooting Video here!
Build Quality: The build quality of the Sig Sauer ProForce MCX Virtus AEG Airsoft Rifle is exceptional with high quality material inside and out, this Airsoft Rifle is mostly metal with a CNC machined receiver and a hefty 7 pound weight to it. Internally you will find VFC Avalon Gearbox featuring improved bearings, quick change spring system, built in MOSFET, and powered by high torque neodymium magnet motors.
Realism: The Sig Sauer ProForce MCX Virtus AEG Airsoft Rifle is designed and licensed by Sig Sauer to be as close to their real steel version of the MCX Virtus as possible in every way. As expected you will find Sig Sauer and Virtus licensing all over, size, handling and weight are also true to the original.
Pros:
Super high quality AEG Airsoft Rifle.
Bolt locks back for easy hop-up adjustments.
Sig Sauer designed and licensed.
Lots of metal parts including the CNC machined metal receiver, rear stock guide rails and most mechanical moving parts.
Lots of mounting points with it’s full length picatinny top rail with M-LOK handguard.
Awesome internals, VFC Avalon Gearbox, quick change spring system, built in MOSFET, high torque neodymium magnet motors.
Easy to mount a sling with it’s QD tactical sling mounts on handguard, lower receiver, and stock.
Performed well in the Field test hitting close to claimed fps and easily shooting a 1.5 inch 10 shot group for 30 feet away.
Cons:
No included sights so you will need to add your own iron, red dot or optical sight.
Battery area is a bit tight so you will need fairly compact batteries.
Comes with orange flash hider but can be swapped out.
On the high end of the price spectrum.
Comments: The Sig Sauer ProForce MCX Virtus AEG Airsoft Rifle is not only a looker but also a performer and is one of the higher quality AEG AR Styled Airsoft Rifles out there. I know there are a ton of AR AEG Airsoft Rifles to pick from but if you want something a little bit different then the rest than the Sig Sauer ProForce MCX Virtus AEG Airsoft Rifle is for sure one to look at. It is a bit more money up front but will offer exceptional performance and the high quality internals will not only perform well but will last the test of time saving you money long term.
