Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 and Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Pistol Table Top Review

UPDATE: All Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 and Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Pistols now ship with the Shorter Barrels!!

Type: Blowback GBB Airsoft Pistols.
Manufacturer: Distributed by Umarex.
Model: Glock 17 Gen 4 & Glock 19 Gen 3.
Materials: Metal & Polymer.
Weight: 1.66 Pounds (642 grams) / 1.64 Pounds (634 grams).
Barrel: Smooth bore 10.8 inch barrels.
Propulsion: Green Gas or Propane.
Action: Semi auto blowback, single action only trigger.
Ammunition Type: 6mm plastic Airsoft BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 22 / 19 round drop out full size metal magazines.
FPS: Claimed 410 with .20 gram Airsoft BB’s.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 and Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Pistols is fairly short with only a little bit of take up, the release is light and crips. The blowback action resets the internal Hammer / Striker with each shot for that true single action trigger and it’s also nice that the trigger does have a working trigger safety like the real steel versions.

Accuracy: At this point I have not shot either of the long barrel Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 and Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Pistols so I can only quote what Umarex is saying in terms of FPS which is around 410 using Green Gas or Propane. These longer barreled versions should shoot fairly hot compared to the much shorter barreled versions and since i do have a short barrel Glock 17 Gen 4 I may also compare it at the same time to see what the actual barrel length does in terms of fps velocity. Of course my Field test Shooting video will also focus on accuracy add see what can be accomplished shooting a 10 shot grouping at 30 feet down range.

Build Quality: The Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 and Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Pistols seems well made overall. It does seem a little bit underweight but still feels solid enough in the hand, Glocks are not known for being all that hefty. The Slide is metal but has a bit of an unusual finish that makes it look a lot like the plastic frame rather than a more shiny metal look. All the parts seem to fit nicely, maybe even a bit snug at first as I noticed the side had a bit of friction to it but seems to be working in nicely now.

Realism: The Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 and Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Pistols look the part of these Glocks all day long. Other then the slightly lighter weight it would be hard to tell off hand until you remove the magazine and take a closer look. All the parts work as you would expect them to, similar to the real steel version and you can even fully field strip the them which makes getting to and adjusting the hop-up easy enough to do.
Available From: The Replica Airguns Store.

Pros:

  • Decent weight and feel to them, build quality seems good.

  • Really nice looking replicas of the original Glock 17 Gen 4 / Glock 19 Gen 3.

  • Fully Glock licensed via Umarex.

  • Easy to see white dot sights front and back with rear sight adjustable for windage.

  • Recessed barrel for added realism when cut down.

  • Accessory rail for adding a laser or tactical light.

  • Full size drop out metal magazines that holds the Green Gas and 6mm Airsoft BB’s.

  • Warning instruction are nice and discreet under trigger guard.

  • Nice light SAO trigger as the blowback action pre-cocks the internal hammer/striker.

  • Working trigger safeties.

  • No red tips and more realistic outer barrel size.

Cons:

  • Only comes with the longer barrel so you need to either cut it down or replace it with a shorter barrel.

  • No way to put a mock suppressor on it to keep extended barrel.

Comments:

Getting the Umarex BB versions of the Glock 17 and Glock 19 has for sure been a bit easier since fps velocity is not a factor. So it’s great that we at least have a way to import these two Umarex Glock GBB Airsoft Pistols into Canada! Yes some home modifications may be required to cut down the inner barrel as the long extended barrels are certainly not practical for every day shooting. That said with the extended long barrels I did get out and shoot a few rounds through them and the added barrel length really does allow for a much faster velocity Airsoft BB making these Umarex GBB Airsoft Glocks more like snipper pistols :)

Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 - Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Update Video

UPDATE: All Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 and Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Pistols now ship with the Shorter Barrels!!

In this YouTube Update Preview Video I go over a couple new Umarex Glock Licensed GBB Airsoft Pistols that I feel require a bit of explaining. Essentially we already stock these same Umarex Glock Blowback Airsoft Pistols, but in the CO2 magazine versions. The Umarex Glock 17 Gen4 and Umarex Glock 19 Gen3 I highlight in this video come with Green Gas Magazines and both have extended inner barrels to allow for Canada import to increase the velocity to our over 360 fps using a .20 gram Airsoft BB.

Usually Green Gas Airsoft Pistols with extended inner barrels will have the ability to unscrew the extension and will even come with a shorter replaceable barrel but in this case all you get is the longer one piece inner barrel. My suggestion is to either cut down the long inner barrel to fit within the out barrel or purchase a short inner barrel when they are available.

At the moment we do not have either one of these Airsoft Pistols listed in our Replica Airguns Stores but they should pop up shortly!

Umarex T4E TPM1 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol Field Test Review

I believe we are now on my third Shooting review for an Umarex T4E Paintball Pistol Series. My first T4E Pistol Shooting Review was for the Umarex T4E Walther PPQ M2 .43 Caliber Paintball Pistol back in 2018. And then in late December of 2019 I made my Shooting Review for the Umarex T4E S&W M&P9 M2.0 .43 Caliber Paintball Pistol. So here we are today performing my Indoor Shooting Test for the Umarex T4E TPM1 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol and since both my previous tests yielded fps around 300 and accuracy in the 6 inch grouping range I kind of know what to expect for it.

First, I put four rounds through my Chrony Chronograph to see what the real world FPS would be, keep in mind I was using rubber balls rather than paintballs and the rubber balls are a little bit heavier and smaller in diameter than paintballs so this could bring the FPS down a bit compared to the slightly lighter paintballs. Using a brand new CO2, the Umarex T4E TPM1 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol average 303 FPS which was higher than the claimed 290 FPS. Temperature inside my Indoor Sea Can Airgun Shooting Range was around 22 degrees Celsius or 72 degrees Fahrenheit.

Moving on to my accuracy testing as per my usual indoor field tests, I positioned myself 30 feet back from a fresh paper target and using a seated and rested shooting position I shot a full magazine (8 rounds) of rubber balls on target with the Umarex T4E TPM1 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol. As mentioned before I was expecting around a 6 inch grouping and got pretty close to it getting closer to an 8 inch 8 shot grouping. The rubber balls did center well on the target all placing uniformly arounds the bullseye. If I was aiming at a human sized torso, I would have hit it with every shot from 30 feet away so good enough for me.

As expected I was able to get very similar and decent results compared to the other Umarex .43 Caliber CO2 Blowback Paintball Pistols I have already reviewed. I did want to mention some of shooting qualities you will find with the Umarex T4E TPM1 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol. The trigger can feel a bit heavy especially using rubber balls as when you pull the trigger the inner barrel moves back and into the magazine going around the paintball and helping to seal off the CO2 from escaping. There is a bit of friction and I find the rubber paintballs seem to have more friction perhaps because the rubber grips more than the plastic surface on standard paintballs? This extra trigger friction or heaviness is really only noticeable when you are pulling the trigger slowly for accuracy testing but when shooting quickly as you would be more likely to do so in an actual training simulation, the trigger friction is all but forgotten about.

The blowback action is very snappy and the Umarex T4E TPM1 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol is I would say on the loud side so keep that in mind. All in all another great addition to the Umarex T4E .43 Caliber Paintball Series of CO2 Blowback Paintball Guns.

We had a lot of great new Airguns that I reviewed this year at Replica Airguns. Some of them really stood out to me and so I made a video showing my Favorite Replica Airgun Picks of 2019. Of course there where many other Airguns that could has just as easily made this video but I had to draw the line somewhere and pick the ones that in my opinion where the best of 2019. Make sure to watch my Vimeo video where I go into some more details on why I liked each Airgun.

Below is a list of the top Replica Airgun Picks of 2019:

Umarex Glock 17 4th Gen CO2 Blowback BB Pistol Table Top Review

Type: Blowback CO2 BB Pistol.
Manufacturer: Distributed by Umarex.
Model: Glock 17 Gen 4.
Materials: Metal & Polymer.
Weight: 1.7 pounds (771 grams).
Barrel: 3.6 inches metal non-rifled.
Propulsion: CO2 x 1.
Action: Semi auto blowback, single action only trigger.
Ammunition Type: 4.5mm steel BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 18 round drop out full size metal magazine.
FPS: Claimed 300.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is single action only so you will need to rack the slide first to not only chamber a 4.5mm Steel BB in the breach area but to also cock the internal striker. There is a working trigger safety on the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol and you’ll also find the Glock 17 Gen 4 has a nice short and light trigger as you would expect similar to the real steel Glock. Perfect for fast action shooting!

Accuracy: At this point I have not shot the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol so I can only quote what Umarex is saying in terms of FP2 which is 300. That sounds reasonable based on other Airguns like this that have that full blowback action since much of the CO2 gas is used to work the action of the slide. This not only reduces how many shots you can expect o get out of a single 12 gram CO2 cartridge but a reduction in power over non-blowback or even partial blowback CO2 Airguns.

Build Quality: The Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol looks to be well made overall with metal and plastic parts where you would find them on a real steel Glock 17 Gen 4. Fit and finish are nice and the slide wiggle is next to zero. The slide spring is very heavy and the sound of the slide when racked and released does not have that cheap metallic sound some blowback Airguns have. I am expecting some pretty decent blowback action recoil from the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol when I do my Field Test Shooting Review!

Realism: The Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol 100% looks the part of a Glock 17 4th Generation, sitting on the table and even holding it in your hand you are going to think it's the real deal until of course you drop the magazine and see that it is a BB/CO2 mag. Mostly everything operates like a real Glock 17 including the slide catch release, trigger safety, magazine release and even the take down switches for quick field stripping and access to the adjustable hop-up, yes it is adjustable.
Available From: The Replica Airguns Store.

Pros:

  • Good weight and feel to it, build quality seems very good.

  • Really nice looking and full featured replica of the original Glock 17 Gen 4.

  • Fully Glock licensed through Umarex.

  • Easy to see white dot sights front and back.

  • Recessed barrel for added realism.

  • Accessory rail for adding a laser or tactical light.

  • Full size drop out metal magazine that holds the CO2 and 18 4.5mm steel BB’s.

  • Slide spring feels heavier than most full blowback Airguns, should have a heavy blowback recoil effect.

  • Safety built into the serial number plate area keeps it well hidden.

  • Comes with additional Backstraps for different sized hands.

  • Warning instruction are nice and discreet under trigger guard.

  • Great feeling single action only trigger as the blowback pre-cocks the internal hammer/strike.

  • 300 fps is decent for a full blowback BB gun.

Cons:

  • FPS could be higher but fairly inline with other full blowback CO2 air pistols.

  • Sight are non-adjustable which is common with low cost Airguns like this one.

  • Would have liked to have seen more pristine packaging from Glock..

Comments:

I know everyone has been waiting for Umarex to release the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol and here it is finally, does it live up to all the hype and excitement? So far without shooting it I have to say yes, I am very pleased with how the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol looks and feels. There is not too much more you can ask for in a replica Airgun of any kind… it looks like the real steel version, it feels like there real steel version, it functions like there real steel version. Hopefully it shoots just as well! If you haven’t bought one of the Umarex Glocks so far then this one is the one to have, but I say why not have them all :)

KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol Field Test Review

This review was plagued with nothing but recording issues during the target accuracy portion of the review. I had to record it 6 separate times for reasons like: Two battery issues, one wrong setting in my camera, a memory card issue (wasn’t reading) and in one test I had a piece of cardboard covering a camera lens!!! Anyway I did get it done in the end but it was very frustrating!

So how did the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol perform for me during this Field Test Shooting Video? I would have to say a bit hot and cold. In terms of velocity, the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol was bang on averaging right around 325 fps which was right in line with KWC’s 328 fps claim. And the temperature was not super hot inside the Sea Can Indoor Airgun Shooting Range. About 15 degrees Celsius or around 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

Moving on to the target portion of this Field Test Review I did manage to get a 4 inch 10 round grouping during my first test (which had recording issues) but for the shooting test that made it to this video my grouping spread out a fair amount closer to 6-8 inches. I did play around with the internal hop-up because the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol likes to shoot low and to the right, so I thought that if I adjusted the hop-up up, I would be able to get shots a little higher on target but this adjustment only seemed to make the gun shoot a little bit less accurately for me? As always I was shooting using me rested seated position from 30 feet down range.

I can say that the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol shoot really nicely with a snappy heavy blowback action and the trigger is nice and short and light. The KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol just feel really good in the hand to shoot, nice balance and weight to it .It feels like quality! If yo want more specifications and some cloerup video of the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol in detail then watch my Table Top Review for the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol.

KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol Table Top Review

Type: Blowback BB Pistol.
Manufacturer: Made and Distributed by KWC.
Model: K17.
Materials: Metal & Polymer.
Weight: 1.68 pounds (760 grams).
Barrel: 4.3 inches metal non-rifled.
Propulsion: 1 x Co2.
Action: Semi auto blowback, single action only trigger.
Ammunition Type: 4.5mm steel BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 17 round drop out full size metal magazine.
FPS: Claimed 329.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is short with only a little bit of take up, the release is light and crips. The blowback action resets the internal Hammer / Striker with each shot for that true single action trigger and it’s also nice that the trigger does have a working trigger safety.

Accuracy: At this point I have not shot the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol so I can only quote what KWC is saying in terms of FPS which is around 330. For a full blowback action steel BB pistol like many other KWC Blowback Air Pistols this is about what you are going to expect. It may sound low but to be honest 300+ is fast enough at 30 feet to only notice a slight delay from the time you press the trigger till the steel BB hits the target and you can expect to put holes in pop cans all day long. In terms of accuracy I should be able to get at least a 2 inch 10 shot grouping from 30 feet down range if the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is on point for me.

Build Quality: The KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol feels really good, I’m going to say it’s probably one of the nicest KWC CO2 blowback pistols I have had in my hands to date. The finish is really nice, the polymer frame is flawless and fit is really good with nice tight tolerances throughout.

Realism: The KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol being a full blowback Airguns is supper realistic in terms of looking like and functioning like a real steel gun. All the parts function as you would expect them to including the ability to filed strip the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol which gives you easy access to the hop-up. In terms of the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol being a replica it does look similar to Glock with some differences like the trigger guard, slide cut-outs, extended beaver tail and straighter pistol grip.
Available From: The Replica Airguns Store.

Pros:

  • Good weight with very solid feel to it.

  • Full blowback action will produce good recoil effect.

  • Full size drop out metal magazine.

  • Short and light single action only trigger.

  • No ugly markings or warnings.

  • Has some bling with the gold barrel and vented slide.

  • Field strips like the real steel version.

  • White dot sights front and back.

  • Adjustable hop-up to adjust for elevation as needed.

  • Working trigger safety along with serial number safety.

Cons:

  • Full blowback action will produce lower fps and use up more CO2.

  • Not sure I like the Gold barrel?:

Comments:

I really like the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol, it may even be one of my favorite CO2 Blowback BB Pistols from KWC to date. That will be somewhat determined by how it shoots of course. The only thing I’m not a huge fan on is the Gold barrel but that’s a personal preference thing. You amy really like the Gold Bling! I could easily polish the barrel to more of a stainless finish if I wanted to and maybe I will? All in all if you’re looking for that Modern Pistol design than the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is going to fit the bill. And by the way if you’re more into Airsoft then you can get the Airsoft version of the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol in our Canada Online Store!

Umarex Glock 17 Gen 3 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol Table Top Review

Type: Blowback CO2 BB Pistol.
Manufacturer: Distributed by Umarex.
Model: Glock 17 Gen 3.
Materials: Metal & Polymer.
Weight: 1.6 pounds (726 grams).
Barrel: 4 inches metal non-rifled.
Propulsion: CO2 x 1.
Action: Semi auto blowback, double action only trigger.
Ammunition Type: 4.5mm steel BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 18 round drop out full size metal magazine.
FPS: Claimed 365.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 3 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is in a way a single action trigger since the blowback action pre-cocks the internal hammer allowing for a much lighter single action type trigger pull. I call it a a double action trigger mainly because there is an indexing of a BB from the magazine into the breach area every time you pull the trigger which means the take up is long and there is a little bit of friction from the mechanical mechanism that indexes a BB.

Accuracy: At this point I have not shot the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 3 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol so I can only quote what Umarex is saying in terms of FP2 which is 365. That's sounds reasonable based on other similar guns like this that have that parcial blowback action and BB indexing system to allow for a more sealed system. We will find out when I perform my Field Test Shooting video for the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 3 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol shortly.

Build Quality: The Umarex Glock 17 Gen 3 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol seems well made overall, Fit and finish are nice and slide wiggle is minimal. There is a bit of a clanky sound when the slide cycles but since pretty much all of these types of airguns are made out of pot metal with a high con ten of zinc alloy this is kind of expected.

Realism: The Umarex Glock 17 Gen 3 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol absolutely looks the part of a Glock 17 3rd Generation, sitting on the table and even holding it in your hand you are going to think it's the real deal until of course you drop the magazine and see that it is a Co2 mag. Mostly everything operates like a real Glock 17 but the slide is not a full blowback meaning it only goes back about 3/4 as much as a real Glock 17 slide would. One other noticeable difference is the ability to quickly field strip the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 3 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol, you will need to remove a pin since the take down tabs are non functioning and moulded into the frame.
Available From: The Replica Airguns Store.

Pros:

  • Great weight and feel to it, build quality seems good.

  • Really nice looking replica of the original Glock 17 Gen 3.

  • Fully Glock licensed.

  • Easy to see white dot sights front and back.

  • Recessed barrel for added realism.

  • Accessory rail for adding a laser or tactical light.

  • Full size drop out metal magazine that holds the CO2 and 18 4.5mm steel BB’s.

  • Safety built into the serial number plate area keeps it well hidden.

  • Warning instruction are nice and discreet under trigger guard

  • Not bad feeling double action only trigger as the blowback pre-cocks the internal hammer/strike.

  • 365 fps is decent for a blowback BB gun.

Cons:

  • Does have blowback action but not full blowback.

  • Slide sound is a bit clanky.

  • Sight are non-adjustable which is common with low cost airguns like this one.

  • Would have liked to have seen more pristine packaging from Glock.

Comments:

Since there release of the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 3 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol we have all been waiting for a blowback version and now we have it in the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 3 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol! Defiantly another step in the right direction when it comes to a Licensed Glock. Am I looking forward to the Glock 17 Gen 4 Blowback BB Pistol, sure but if you’re a Glock fan why not have them all and this version will get you a bit higher fps and more shots per CO2 while still offering blowback action with a decent trigger!

Glock BB and Airsoft Pistol Preview

In this Vimeo Preview Video I show off three new Glock and Glock-like Air Pistols. Two of them are from Umarex and are Glock Licensed, one being a GGB Airsoft Pistol and the other is a CO2 Blowback BB Pistol. I also show an unlicensed Glock-like CO2 Blowback BB Pistol from KWC that kind of looks like a glock but has several key differences that do make it deviate a fair amount from that of a true Glock pistol.

Starting with the KWC 17. At first glance you may think it looks a lot like a Glock but on closer inspection it has the following differences: Notched out trigger guard, extended thumb guard or beaver tail, straight pistol grip with no finger indents, cut out on slide, slide serration on front. The KWC 17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is a full blowback Airgun with a full size drop out metal magazine that holds the CO2 and 17 rods of 4.5mm steel BB’s. You can expect to get around 330 fps for it.

Another Blowback CO2 BB Glock is the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 3 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol which is fully Glock licensed and also features a full size drop out metal magazine that hold 18 4.5mm steel BB’s. The Glock 17 Gen 3 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is a partial blowback Airgun so you can expect a little bit higher velocity of around 365 fps and additional shots per CO2.

Lastly I show you the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 GBB Airsoft Pistol, another fully Glock Licensed airgun with full blowback operation and a full size drop out metal magazine that holds 20 6mm plastic Airsfot BB’s and the either Green Gas or Propane Gas. Velocity will be around 300 fps on this one.

Pickup one of these Glock and Glock-like Airguns form either our Canada or US online Replica Airgun stores!

Umarex Glock 19 CO2 BB Pistol Table Top Review

Type: Non-blowback CO2 BB Pistol.
Manufacturer: Distributed by Umarex.
Model: Glock 19.
Materials: Metal & Polymer.
Weight: 1.6 pounds (725 grams).
Barrel: Metal Non-rifled.
Propulsion: CO2 x 1.
Action: Semi auto non-blowback, double action only trigger.
Ammunition Type: 4.5mm BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 16 round drop out metal stick magazine.
FPS: Claimed 410.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex Glock 19 Non-blowback CO2 BB Pistol is double action only and has that inner barrel that protrudes out of the barrel external barrel thing that happens. You see this on many lower cost CO2 BB pistols. I believe the barrel is actually part of the action and kind of acts like the hammer hitting the valve after it has allowed a BB to enter the break area. The double action trigger is a bit long but not overly heavy and does have a working trigger safety on it.

Accuracy: At this point I have not shot the Umarex Glock 19 Non-blowback CO2 BB Pistol so I can only quote what Umarex is saying in terms of FP2 which is 410. That's sounds reasonable and based on other similar guns like this the Umarex Glock 19 Non-blowback CO2 BB Pistol should get lots of shots out of a CO2 and produce decent shot groupings on target. We will find out when I get another Chronograph for my Field Test Shooting Videos.

Build Quality: The Umarex Glock 19 Non-blowback CO2 BB Pistol is really well made. It's super solid at 1.6 pounds and feels in the hand like a real Glock would. Fit and finish are very good and you are going to find lots of metal parts where they would be and need to be on this air pistol.

Realism: The Umarex Glock 19 Non-blowback CO2 BB Pistol absolutely looks the part, sitting on the table and even holding it in your hand you are going to think it's the real deal. When you start trying to cycle the slide and eject the magazine is when you are going to quickly realize this is not a 9mm Glock 19 but rather a replica 4.5mm Steel BB version. I am hoping that down the road Umarex and Glock will come out with a full blowback and full metal drop out magazine version?
Available From: The Replica Airguns Store.

Pros:

  • Great weight and feel to it, build quality seems really good.

  • Really nice looking replica of the original Glock 19.

  • Fully Glock licensed.

  • Easy to see white dot sights front and back.

  • Working trigger safety.

  • Recessed barrel for added realism.

  • Accessory rail for adding a laser or tactical light.

  • Stick magazine but plate gives the elusion of a full size magazine.

  • Warning instruction are nice and discreet under trigger guard

  • So far the only Glock official licensed 4.5mm Steel BB pistol.

  • Not bad feeling double action only trigger, perhaps a bit long.

  • 410 fps is nice and strong.

Cons:

  • Fixed slide with no blowback action.

  • Has a stick magazine rather than a full size magazine.

  • Sight are non-adjustable which is common with low cost airguns like this one.

  • Would have liked to have seen more pristine packaging from Glock.

Comments:

I know this version of the Umarex Glock 19 Non-blowback CO2 BB Pistol is not exactly what we where all hoping for... That said we are making progress. Glock actually licensed there name out to an Airgun manufacturer and is working with them to come out with even better future versions and models so be happy with what we do have and pick one of these first generation Umarex Glock 19 Non-blowback CO2 BB Pistols, after all this is history in the making and I know I want to own the first ever officially licensed Glock BB Pistol, don't you for under $100?

If you're interested in picking up an Umarex Glock 19 Non-blowback CO2 BB Pistol for yourself you can find them in our Replica Airguns Canada and US Online Store.

Another Update Video this Week - What's Going On?

Some more stuff came in and I just had to show it off before moving on with the reviews. I know you're going to like it so here we go again...

First off the super anticipate Umarex Glock 19 CO2 BB Pistol has arrived and is now available in our Canada and US online Replica Airgun Stores so get yours while we still have them, if we still have them? No this version is not a blowback or even working slide version and yes it has the dreaded stick mag! That all said the Umarex Glock 19 CO2 BB Pistol feels really solid and well made and heck it's the first licensed Airgun Glock ever so it's a good start. Umarex has said that more elaborate blowback versions will be coming out down the road. There are full blowback Airsoft version licensed by Umarex but the FPS is too slow right now for us to import them into Canada, hopefully there is a fix for this at some point...

I have been waiting at least three months now for my AW Custom AG-HX2003 Double Stack Tactical 1911 Full Blowback CO2 BB Pistol to show up. Canada Customs got their hands on it and felt it needed to be processed for three months before delivering it to me. at least I did end up getting it without a fight!

AW Custom is primarily an Airsoft gun manufacturer but is moving into the 4.5mm Steel BB market and has a few 4.5mm Steel BB offerings which have interchangeable parts with their Airsoft guns if you need them. I will making a Table Top and Field Test Sooting Video for the AW Custom AG-HX2003 Double Stack Tactical 1911 Full Blowback CO2 BB Pistol, my list is getting pretty huge now but I am excited I have all these new products to review for everyone!

Last on my Update list is a rather pricey one but not something I have ever revised on this channel, It's the Umarex T4E HK416 .43 caliber Paintball M4/AR Rifle made specifically for m military and police training. This gun is super realistic with similar working parts to its real steel counterpart. Check the Umarex T4E HK416 .43 caliber Paintball M4/AR Rifle in our Canada and US Online Stores.

SHOT Show 2018 Umarex Interview

Umarex presented at SHOT Show this year a license I think we all thought was never going to happen! That would be Glock, for years Glock has been steadfast about not allowing their handguns to be licensed by anyone other than them. Glock has been very protective about their brand and intellectual properties as they are entitled to. I'm not sure what Umarex said to Glock but somehow they where able to get Glock to agree to letting Umarex license Glock pistols to be made into BB and Airsoft versions. The first BB and Airsoft models I was able to checkout at this years SHOT Show are pretty basic in design and are styled after the Glock 19.

The new Umarex Glock 19 licensed BB and Airsoft pistols are CO2 powered as expected but don't have blowback operation and have a fixed metal slide and a drop out stick magazine. The new Glock Licensed Umarex pistols do however look and feel really good, picking them up you would think you are holding a real steel Glock until you try and rack the slide or drop the magazine. Umarex did indicate there will be more licensed models coming out down the road with full blowback operation and full size drop out metal magazines, we just need to be patient as Glock is very particular about the quality control.

Another show stopper for me at the Umarex Booth was the Legends Cowboy Lever Action Shell loading BB Rifle. I love shooting my Red Ryder BB Rifle but I have to admit the Red Ryder kind of looks a bit like a kids beginner airgun. The new Umarex Legends Cowboy Lever Action Shell loading BB Rifle look, feels and operates like the real deal so it's not only going to be super fun to shoot but an awesome replica to own especially if your into the old west guns.

The Umarex Legends Cowboy Lever Action Shell loading BB Rifle uses two 12 gram CO2 cartridges and can hold 10 BB loaded shells in its tube styled magazine, working the lever action elects the empty shells. Umarex claims around 410 fps so the Umarex Legends Cowboy Lever Action Shell loading BB Rifle will be Canada legal without the need for a PAL. I thought the stock was real wood but was correct, it's actually made out of plastic, but I think just about anyone looking close up would have a hard time believing Umarex didn't use real wood.

Thanks to Mark Davis from Umarex for making himself available to interview!

WE AK-74UN & G18C Tactical GBB Airsoft Gun Field Test Review

All references, photos and video claiming that any item in this review/video looks like a Glock or is a Replica of a Glock in any way shape or form have been removed from this post as requested by Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

I almost forgot to do my field test review for my WE AK-74UN & WE G18C Tactical GBB Airsoft Pistol and Rifle! I decided to do them both together on this one but I still did my usual full testing for both guns which consisted of my Chronograph, Target and Can destruction along with some high speed slow motion of the blowback action of both guns in full auto mode.

Photo of WE G18C Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Your best bet is to watch my Youtube video and see how both of these WE Airsoft guns perform. Overall they are both rally nice and super realistic, the WE G18C Tactical is definitely the full auto monster here while the AK-74UN is the bull in the China store with its crazy heavy blowback action, it has so much recoil that when shooting in full auto it kind of runs our of steam near the end, not so with the WE G18C as it did not slow down even with the 50 round magazine loaded up!

The WE AK-74UN even with it's crazy recoil holds on target very well in semi and full auto and of course has the superior fps performance. I found when shooting the G18C in full auto, I needed to hold my aim-point low as the blowback and super fast cycle rate wanted to pull the gun up and over my target, same would be true with a real gun so no surprise here.

WE G18C Tactical GBB Airsoft Pistol Table Top Review

All references, photos and video claiming that any item in this review/video looks like a Glock or is a Replica of a Glock in any way shape or form have been removed from this post as requested by Glock"Renzulli Law Firm"

Type: Airsoft GBB Pistol.
Manufacturer: WE.
Model: G18C.
Materials: Metal & plastic.
Weight: 1.7 pounds (776 Grams).
Barrel: 4.5 inches, smooth bore.
Propulsion: (GBB) Gas Blowback.
Action: Semi & full auto.
Ammunition Type: Airsoft 6mm Plastic BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 25 rounds.
FPS: Up-to 380 with longer barrel attached.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the WE G18C is very nice and light since the blowback action does most of the work pre-cocking the action. There is a built in and working trigger safety like you would find on a real steel NAME REMOVED with about a quarter inch of take-up leading to a very light and crisp release.

Photo of WE G18C Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Accuracy: Out of the Box the WE G18C shot great rather well for me when I did my pretest from the 20 foot mark, I found the WE G18C was dialed in pretty decent and shot very close to the bulls eye, maybe a hair to the left which is good since the sights are non adjustable. I shot a very respectable 5 shot 1.5 inch group in semi auto which opened up a great deal when I shot the remaining 15 rounds but at least they all seemed to stay pretty much on the paper which is not bad considering how much this gun jumps around in full auto.

Photo of WE G18C Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Build Quality: The WE G18C Airsoft seems to be well made, and you will find lots of metal parts where they need to be, again similar as what you would find in a real NAME REMOVED. Fit and finish is nice but I did have an issue with the gas tube when I first got mine, it broke rendering the gun inoperable, a quick swap out with a new gas tube and all is well and so far after a number of magazine worth of shots the WE G18C is still working well and the new gas tube is holding up.

Photo of WE G18C Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Realism: WE has taken some liberty with the markings on their WE G 18C copy, they are similar to what you would find on a real NAME REMOVED but not actually the same, as longs as you don't look too closely you will most likely be fooled into believing it's a licensed NAME REMOVED! As for how the WE G18C is built and how it operates, you will find it's a dead ringer to a real steel NAME RMOVED and even breaks down exactly the same.
Reviewed by: Replica Airguns.

Photo of WE G18C Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Pros:

  • It's a NAME REMOVED Replica!
  • Lots of metal in this gun similar to a real NAME REMOVED.
  • Kind of licensed similar to a NAME REMOVED.
  • Semi auto & full auto selectable :)
  • Very solid blowback kick.
  • Field strips just like a NAME REMOVED.
  • Very good accuracy and power even with the shorter barrel installed
  • Comes with two barrels, one for use with the suppressor to increase fps for Canadian import.

Photo of WE G18C Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Cons:

  • No real sight adjustments.
  • Had a problem with the Gas Tube cracking almost right out of the box.

Photo of WE G18C Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Comments:
I have heard many people say they love WE products and then there are some that claim they are not all that well made! Other than my issue with the cracked gas tube, my WE G18C is holding up well and is working nicely, I think some earlier WE products lacked some refinement which may have led to problems but from what I have heard as of late, WE has stepped things up and is making a better product these days. My WE AK74UN is a testament to this as it is built like a tank and has tons of real stamped steel all throughout. Getting back to the WE G18C Airsoft GBB, it's really fun to shoot with it's amazing blowback and for a GBB pistol it shoots pretty hard and finds the target with easy.

WE AK74UN and WE G18C GBB Airsoft Gun Update Video

I have a couple of guns I wanted to share with you all and no we do not sell them at this point in time and I can not say if we will or not down the road.

There is just no way we can carry every brand of gun and every gun from every brand, that said I still sometimes have my eye on a gun and will pick it up even if I have to pay full retail juts so I can add it to my collection and also do a review for all of you.

Photo of WE G18C Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Today I showcase two Gas Blowback Airsoft guns from WE. I have been wanting to get an AK variant of some sort since there was a big whole in my collection after the RCMP came into my house and took my scary AK BB gun away. And if for some reason you feel this "again" legally imported through the CBSA non convertible airgun is in some way a concern, please feel free to come on over and have a good look, no SWAT team necessary this time. I am just around the corner from the police station and I make a good cup of coffee!

Getting back to this update, the other WE Airsoft gun is the WE G18C which like the WE AK74UN, also has semi and full auto select-ability. Both guns have excellent blowback kick with the AK74UN having a full travel blot which kicks like a mule and has a slower full auto cycle rate much like a real AK47.

Both guns have metal parts where you would find them on the real steel versions while the AK even goes so far to have actual stamped steel all over just like you would find on an AK.

Photo of WE G18C Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

I will be doing full reviews for both these WE GBB Airsoft guns so stay posted for those video reviews, in the meantime you can watch my Update Video showcasing both these WE Airsoft guns.

Mystery (KSC?) 17 GBB Airsoft Pistol Review

Photo of Mystery KSC Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

All references, photos and video claiming that any item in this Review/Video looks like a Glock or is a Replica of a Glock in any way shape or form have been removed from this post as requested by Glock"Renzulli Law Firm"

Type: Airsoft GBB pistol.
Manufacturer: KSC?
Model: NAME REMOVED 17.
Materials: Plastic & metal.
Weight: 1.6 pounds.
Barrel: 4 inch, non-rifled.
Propulsion: GBB - Propane.
Action: Semi auto - single action only.
Ammunition Type: 6mm plastic Airsoft BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 23 round drop out all metal magazine.
FPS: Up to 330.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on this Mystery NAME REMOVED 17 GBB Airsoft pistol is very nice with some take-up at the beginning but once you hit the resistance part it is smooth and the release is very light. The NAME REMOVED trigger safety actually works on this model which is a nice touch!

Photo of Mystery KSC Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Accuracy: I found the (KSC) NAME REMOVED 17 to have very good accuracy, getting about a 2 inch 8 shot grouping from 20 feet out in a semi rested position (sand bag up front, standing in the back). I also put 5 rounds through my Chrony Chronograph and this Airsoft Gas Blowback pistol averaged right around 326 fps using .20 gram 6mm plastic Airsoft BB's.

Photo of Mystery KSC Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Build Quality: The (KSC) NAME REMOVED 17 Airsoft pistol uses a combination of plastic and metal and has a decent overall weight and feel to it thanks to the full size drop out metal magazine. The frame like a real NAME REMOVED is plastic but the slide and outer barrel are also plastic which on real steel NAME REMOVED would not be the case. Even so the overall weight is good and the fit and finish is very good. Even though this is a pre-owned Airsoft gun it is in as-new condition and seems to be holding up very well.

Photo of Mystery KSC Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Realism: The (KSC) Airsoft NAME REMOVED 17 is very realistic in appearance and operation with all parts working exactly as they would on a real NAME REMOVED 17. Even the trigger safety works and field stripping this Airsoft gun is the same as a real NAME REMOVED. NAME REMOVED trademarks are present throughout, the only real giveaway is the plastic slide and outer barrel but you would need to examine this gun close up to see this for yourself.
Purchased privately, check out some other Airsoft guns in the Replica Airguns Store.

Photo of Mystery KSC Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Pros:

  • Very realistic and accurate licensing.
  • Got a tight two inch group but was a bit low, hop up should get it back up.
  • Decent FPS for a short barreled GBB Airsoft gun.
  • Even thought the frame and slide are polymer, it has good weight to it.
  • Everything works like the original, field strips and most mechanical parts are metal.
  • High capacity 23 round full size drop out metal magazine.
  • Adjustable rear sight for windage but is a bit lose on mine.
  • Good usage of the gas - two full magazines.

Photo of Mystery KSC Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Cons:

  • Hard to get here in Canada.
  • Mostly plastic main build - slide and outer barrel are plastic.
  • Rear sight was a bit lose.

Comments:
I am hoping that someone will know for sure who make this Airsoft NAME REMOVED 17 but either way it has been great playing around with it and doing my research to see if I could find out on my own. It's hard to tell you to go out and get one because I'm not sure what to go out and get at this point or even if this version can still be purchased and if so where from? All these questions... I can tell you that it's great to finally have an actual NAME REMOVED replica in my collection, I have a few NAME REMOVED-like guns but until I got my hand on this Mystery NAME REMOVED 17 GBB Airsoft pistol I really only had close proximities. So if you have the opportunity to snatch up something like this I say go for it!
