Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KJ Works KP-13 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is what you would expect for a true Single Action Only Trigger which is nice and light. There is a bit of take up but you can feel the point near the back where the release kicks in which is extremely predictable with no play in it. Of course you will need to rack the slide in order to place a round in the breach and fire the first shot, after that the blowback action will do all the work for you.
Accuracy: At this point I have not shot the KJWorks KP-13 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol or done my Field Test Performance Video. I would expect the KJWorks KP-13 to perform like the other KJWork Airsoft Pistols I have reviewed in the past, which generally hits the claimed fps. Keep in mind the claimed fps is with the extended barrel and I more than likely will be using the preinstalled shorter non extendable barrel which will have a slower fps for sure. Accuracy should be decent but we will find out when I make my Field Test Shooting video!
Build Quality: The KJWorks line of Airsoft Guns is know for overall good quality so I expect theKJ Works KP-13 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol to be just the same. From my initial first impressions everything looks really good, fit and finish are excellent and as expected you will find metal parts and polymer parts in all the same places you would find them in a real steel modern semi auto pistol.
Realism: The KJ Works KP-13 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is not an exact replica of a specific semi auto pistol but yo could say it looks a little bit like a Glock ;) You need to be careful when it comes to Glock as they do not like it when companies copy their guns and rightly so. There is enough differences with the KJ Works KP-13 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol so it should not set off any alarms over at Glock. I do like the two tone tan and black color scheme KJ Works went with for the KP-13 but if you like a more traditional look you can always go with the all black version.
Pros:

If you’re looking for a pistol that is similar to a Glock for training purposes but is unique in its own way and doesn’t have to be a Glock, then perhaps the KJ Works KP-13 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol may be for you. I like the fact that it has its own style to it and is not just another Glock or Glock Copy. I also like that the KP-13 comes with a CO2 magazine rather than a Green Gas Magazine which will get you a bit higher velocity and more mag fills before requiring to gas up again. I personally like the two tone version but get what you like best, it’s good to have options!

There have been some changes since then most noticeably the addition to Airsoft versions so I thought I would update this video with more current Beretta Airguns along with of course some of the same ones form my last video.

.177 Caliber Pellet Beretta 92 -M9 CO2 Air Pistols
If you haven’t already watched my Table Top Comparison Review for the KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols than make sure to have a look at that video if you’re interested in more of the specifications and details and some closeup shots of both Airsoft Guns.
In this Field Test Shooting Video Review I compare the KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols head to head and side by side to see how these two very similar Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Replicas perform. They both cost about the same, are built with similar quality and look a lot alike but what I really wanted to know is how do they shoot!
First off I tested out the power of both Airsoft Guns shooting 5 consistent .20 gram Airsoft BB’s from each gun through my Chronograph. Keep in mind I was using a full magazine of propane gas in the KWA M226-LE and a brand new 12 gram CO2 in the KJWorks KJ1060 (KP-01). As CO2 is know to have more power than green gas I was expecting a bit more pop out of the KJWorks KJ1060 which I did get. The temperature in my indoor Sea Can Airgun Shooting Range was 18 degree Celsius (64 degrees Fahrenheit) so not too cold or too hot. The KWA M226-LE averaged right around 320 fps while the KJWorks KJ1060 averaged 350 fps.
Moving on to my accuracy portion of the test for the KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols. I placed fresh paper targets 30 feet down range for each Airsoft pistol and put 10 rounds into each target shooting from a rested seated position. I did not adjust the hop-up or sights for either Airsoft Pistol prior to this test to see how close to the bullseye they would get out of the box. First up was the KWA M226-LE and it performed nicely for me shooting close to the bullseye, just a little bit low but getting around a 3.5 inch 10 round group. I then followed up with the KJWorks KJ1060 (HP-01) and also shot fairly near the Bullseye out of the box but the grouping opened up just a bit resulting in a 4.5 inch 10 round group. Still respectable for a close Airsoft quarters sidearm.
At the end of the day, the KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols came out pretty close to each other in this head to head Filed Test Shooting Comparison Review. One shot a little bit harder while the other one was a little bit more accurate but neither was a standout in either category. I guess you’re going to have to flip a coin deciding on which one of these two very well made Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols you’re going to choose but either way you will be getting a winner here.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on both the KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols is very similar, they both shoot in single and double action and both actions are fairly light on the finger. I found the KWA M226-LE had a bit lighter double action trigger while the KJWorks KJ1060 seemed lighter when shooting in single action. This is all based on simply dry firing both guns to see who the triggers felt in both their single and double actions.
Accuracy: So far I have not shot either Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistol but plan to get to my Field Test Shooting Review very soon. I will be testing both Airsoft Guns out head to head to see how each performs against each other for power and accuracy.
Build Quality: The build quality for the KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols is excellent. Both KWA and KJWorks make exception quality Airguns so which ever one you pick will be a good choice here. Both Airsoft Sig Sauer P226 Pistols are all metal full Blowback ultra realistic Airguns It may just come down to a few small differences. Overall I liked the fit and finish on the KWA M226-LE just a little bit more but it was very close.
Realism: In terms of realism it does not get any more realistic than this. You are going to find that the KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols mimic a real Sig Sauer P226 very closely with working parts as you would find them in the real steel version. The only tell tale sign on the KWA M226-LE is the orange tip which by they ways was not what we ordered so in future versions they will not have orange tips. The KJWorks KJ1060 comes with a CO2 magazine which is a bit elongated from the pistol grip but there are shorter Green Gas magazines for this gun available.
I like that both guns have full blowback operation, full size drop out magazines, easy to use white dot sights.
Working de-cockers and true to form single and double action triggers.
I like the finish on the KWA M226-LE, it’s smoother and has stamped in branding on the slide and frame.
I like the Grips on the KWA M226-LE, more ergonomic and comfortable.
Fit and overall quality feels just a little bit better on the KWA M226-LE.
I like the look of the flush green gas magazine on the KWA M226-LE.
I like the additional power the CO2 Magazine will give the KJWorks KJ1060.
I like that the KJWorks KJ1060 doe snot have an orange tip.
I like the the KJWorks KJ1060 comes with a speed loader.
What I dislike about each gun:
I don’t like that either gun doe snot have adjustable sights.
I don’t like the orange tip on the KWA M226-LE.
I don’t like the way the extended CO2 mag looks on the KJWorks KJ1060
Comments: No matter which of these two awesome Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols you may choose, you are going to love it. I am a big Sig Sauer fan and so it makes sense for me to own something like this so I can shoot it any time I want without having to go to the actual gun range and spend a boat load of money firing off real 9mm ammo. You really do get a very realistic experience shooting these ultra realistic Airsoft Pistols. They are the same size and weight, all the controls work the same, the triggers have the same weigth and feel to them, the blowback action simulates the recoil. The only difference is the cost to shoot, less recoil feel obviously and the fact that most people can shoot them safely and quality in the privacy of their own back yards.
My Table Top Comparison Review of the KWA M226-LE & KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols:
In this comparison video I look at a variety of different Beretta 92/Taurus PT92 Airguns and compare them to each other to determine which one I feel is the best Beretta/Taurus Airgun. Keep in mind what's best in for me may not be best for you.
It has been a while since I picked out some of my favorite guns, after all my favorite gun picks change on a daily basis since there are so many awesome guns out there to pick from.
This Vimeo video is a little different since I pick out my favorites from a bunch of mostly replica gun categories including Steel BB, Pellet, Airsoft, Revolvers and Blank Pistols.
You may notice most of my picks happen to be blowback guns but to me airguns are all about being as realistic as possible and having blowback operation to me help to simulate the realism that much more. The exception in this video is in the pellet gun category since I decided on a pellet gun that was more about function and purpose over being any type of real replica.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KJWorks KP-11 1911 is very good since it is modeled after a real steel 1911 which makes it short and crisp with a nice light trigger pull. There is a very slight take-up at the very beginning of the pull but once your get past this the release is crisp and predictable. Since it is not a double action trigger you will need to either rack the slide for your first shot or pull the hammer back if you have already chambered a round.
Accuracy: I have not done my actual Field Test Shooting video review for the KJWorks KP-11 M1911 Airsoft Pistol so I do not have any definitive feedback for you but based on my experiences shooting other KJWorks 1911 styled Airsoft CO2 Pistols I expect it to have great blowback action recoil, a nice trigger and good overall FPS and accuracy. In terms of reliability, KJWorks pistols are solid in this department.
Build Quality: As expected, the KJWorks KP-11 Hi-Capa 1911 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol build quality is exactly like all the other KJWorks Airsoft guns I've tested so far, Build quality for the price point is top notch with tolerances between the moving parts like the slide and frame are extremely tight showing excellent workmanship and machining from KJWorks. The finish is always a step above other similar styled Airsoft and BB guns, youn really don't have to worry about the finish coming of as easy.
Realism: The KJWorks CO2 KP-11 Hi-Capa 1911 Blowback Airsoft Pistol copies the real steel very popular even today Colt 1911 45 caliber pistol, it can be field stripped very similarly to a real 1911 Semi Auto pistol and all parts function virtually the same including a working safety, grip safety, slide catch-release, magazine release and hammer. This Hi-Capa version has a more tactical look with a wider frame for what would be a double stack hi capacity styled magazine.
Has really good weight but not too heavy since it has a polymer frame..
Expect to have typical KJWorks crisp and firm full blowback operation.
Excellent fit and finish. I like the mat textured finish which looks to bed super durable.
Nice bright white dot sights, really easy to see.
I like the look of the tactical hammer and trigger.
Nice high capacity magazine with a little extra zing for the CO2 Mag.
Fully field strip-able.
Cons:
Is not really setup up for left handers with no real ambidextrous components.
CO2 magazine is long to accommodate the 12 gram CO2.
Grips may be a bit thick for smaller hands.
Comments:
I love 1911 pistols and enjoy shooting them, there is something about how they feel in the hand that is different form most other pistols. They always feel so solid. The KJWorks Airsoft versions capture that feeling exactly and again the little bit more you may pay for a KJWorks 1911 over some other lesser quality Full blowback 1911's is worth the cost in my books. This Hi-Capa 1911 version with it's tactical look and finish would make a great game player for sure!

I was personally confused about some of the similarities and differences between several models of KJWorks Beretta M9 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistols, so I decided to make a video where I go over 4 models of KJWorks M9 Pistols and point out the commonalities and differences between them.
Here are the 4 versions of KJWorks Beretta M9 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistols:
All of them come with interchangeable 25 round CO2 Magazines.
All of them shoot around 360+ fps.
All have a metal slide and frame.
All weigh close to the same weight (2.1 - 2.4 pounds).
All shoot in single and double action.
All have ambidextrous safeties.
All have white dot sights.
Prices range from $184 -$200.
Here is a list of the differences between them:
The VE, Vertex and M9A1 come in a semi gloss finish while the Tactical is more of a matt black.
The VE and M9A1 have rails for accessory attachments while the Vertex and Tactical do not.
The Vertec, Tactical and M9A1 have laniard loops while the VE does not.
Some slight trigger guard differences between the models but very subtle.
The Vertex and M9A1 share the same style classic Beretta pistol grip, The Tactical has a tactical finger pistol grip and the VE has it’s own unique pistol grip.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KJWorks KP01-E2 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Replica is good in both single and double action. Once the slide is pulled back and released the first round is chambered and the hammer will remain back placing the KJWorks P226 in single action mode, the pull is light and the take-up is nice and short, most of your shots will be in single action mode unless you use the de-cocker to lower the hammer for a subsequent double action follow-up shot, double action shots are still pretty light but much longer in order to cock the hammer back.
Accuracy: (I have not shot the KJWorks distributed CO2 Mag version but I have already done a Field Test Shootinng Review for the same KJWORKS gun distributed and licensed by Cybergun in the Gas Mag version. Here is what I had to say about the Cybergun Gas Magazine version: "Shooting the Cybergun Sig P226 from 20 feet out in semi rested position I was able to get very good results. I placed 10 rounds in about 1.5 inches with the shot placement being a bit low possibly due to my barrel mod, adjusting the hop-up may bring the aim point back up to where it should be. The Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Replica shot right around the 316 fps range while conducting my 5 shot average chrony testing which was lower than advertised but I was using much heavier .20 gram BB's. You can expect to get a full magazine worth of shots out of each gas fill-up but I did notice that as the magazine got colder it did tend to become much less efficient and also seemed to vent a lot of vapor."
Build Quality: The build quality for all KJWorks guns in my opinion is one of the best in the business. Fit and finish is top notch with close tolerances in the working parts as you would find in a real steel gun. The paint is excellent and in general will wear much better than other Airsoft guns out there. The KJWorks KP01-E2 (Sig Sauer P226) CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is pretty much all metal and feels it, the recoil spring is nice and firm and all working parts are smooth and crisp when operated.
Realism: The KJWorks KP01-E2 (Sig Sauer P226) CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is a replica of the real steel Sig Sauer P226 with the exception of the licensing. The KJWorks KP01-E2 really is a great looking and functioning Airsoft Replica. You can field strip this gun exactly like a real Sig Sauer and all the mechanical parts work just the same including a working de-cocker and adjustable front sight. It is really hard to distinguish the Airsoft version from the real Sig P226 in both looks and feel.
All metal pistol with good overall realistic weight to it.
Very crisp and firm full blowback operation.
Some of the best fit and finish in the industry. Especially in price range.
Nice accurate looking and working Sig Sauer P226 Replica.
Working de-cocker.
White dot sights for quick target acquisition.

I am a huge Sig Sauer fan so I have kind of high expectations with a replica gun! The KJWorks lineup as a whole is really fantastic, and what I say about the KJWorks KP01-E2 (Sig Sauer P226) CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol can be said about the entire lineup. KJWorks makes a super well built product that replicates the real steal version almost exactly other then they shoot Airsoft BB's instead of actual bullets. When holding a KJWorks gun in the hand you can feel the quality, in weight, ballence and especially when operating the slide, trigger and other working parts. Everything just feels so perfect and responsive. For the money you can not go wrong with the KJWorks KP01-E2 (Sig Sauer P226) CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol or any other KJWorks gun for that matter.

I am not sure exactly what the FPS will be but considering both theses versions of the KJWorks M9 & M9A1 have the CO2 mags they should shoot up into the 360+ fps range using .20 gram Airsoft BB's. Blowback operation is strong and the slides cycle full length. Keep posted for my upcoming Field Test Shooting Video for both pistols.

Both KJWorks Beretta's can be field stripped in the same manor as a real Beretta M9 Semi Auto pistol and all parts function the same.

I am a big fan of 1911 pistols and love getting my hands on pretty much any version weather it be a Real Steel 45 caliber 1911, a 4.5mm Steel BB version or 6mm Airsoft Pistol. As long as it has that true 1911 single action short light trigger to it. I love the way the slide cycles a bit slower than most semi auto pistols and this can be found in many Airgun and Airsoft version like this KJWorks 1911 making the shooting experience even more realistic. The fit, Finish and overall quality of the KJWorks 1911 over other brands is worth the slight additional costs so if you don't mind paying juts a tad bit more for that extra quality and you're looking for a CO2 1911 then you will not be disappointed with the KJWorks Full Metal CO2 Airsoft 1911.

We recently received some new pistols from KJWorks, The CO2 versions in Full Metal of the Colt 1911, the Berretta M9 and the Berretta M9A1. All of these guns are really well made, the fit and finish is excellent. Definitely a very high quality Airsoft pistol and worth spending a little bit more to get this extra quality. So I made a quick demo preview video where I get away from my table top and go outside to show them off a bit and shoot a few rounds through them at some clay pigeons. I did have some camera issues but you will get a good idea on how these guns look and perform.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KJWORKS KP-05 is what you would expect from a true 1911 single action only trigger, it has very little take up with a smooth crisp and light release to it.
Accuracy: I shot the KJWORKS KP-05 from 20 feet out in semi rested position and got very good test results. I was able to place 10 rounds in under 1.5 inches and getting four shots right in the bullseye making the shot placement very good even without adjusting the sights (which can be adjusted for windage). The KJWORKS HP-05 1911 styled HI-CAPA Airsoft Replica shot right around 300 fps range while conducting my 5 shot average chrony testing which was surprisingly low for the CO2 magazine version, this may have been a temperature or CO2 related condition, when I conduct my full Field Test Shooting Review, I will review this and see if we can do better? I also got two full 30 round magazines worth of shots which is what you would expect from this style of full heavy blowback airsoft pistol.
Build Quality: I am extremely impressed with the build quality of all the KJWORKS Airsoft guns so far, the fit and finish is the best around on any of my guns including my 4.5mm steel BB shooters. After shooting several magazines worth of BB's, areas that are painted like the metal friction areas show very light wear which is rarely the case with metal built blowback airguns. Again the tolerances between the moving parts like the slide and frame are very tight showing excellent workmanship and machining from KJWORKS.
Realism: The KJWORKS KP-05 6mm Airsoft pistol is a replica of a High Capacity styled tactical 1911 45 Auto and is a great looking and functioning replica. You will not find any actual licensing on this pistol and the CO2 magazine does stick out a bit to accommodate the 12 gram CO2 but other than that this Airsoft pistol looks and works near exactly like a real 1911 tactical semi auto and is fully field strip-able. I really like the updated more tactical add ons like the tactical rail, machined trigger and hammer, white dot adjustable sights, wrap around grips and ambidextrous safety.
All metal pistol with good overall realistic weight to it.
Full heavy blowback operation.
Typical KJWORKS excellent fit and finish.
High capacity magazine 30 rounds.
Very good accuracy and well centered on target.
Nice replica of a High Capacity Tactical 1911 styled pistol.
I like the stainless highlights and ambidextrous safety and Rail for accessories.
Fully field strip-able.
Cons:
Shot a bit low Feet Per Second for me - should do better?
CO2 magazine is long to accommodate the 12 gram CO2.
Slide is heavy enough but seems to be a bit sluggish which is kind of a 1911 trademark so that can be taken as good or bad.
Comments:
The KJWORKS KP-05 1911HI-CAPA is another excellent full blowback Airsoft pistol from KJWORKS. The HP-05 is a classic upgraded more modernized version of the 1911 semi auto pistol which is a great foundation to build any pistol from. I found the CO2 usage to be decent on the KP-05 but felt that I should have been able to get more fps out of this pistol, I will be testing the KJWORKS KP-05 again and hope to see some better results in this area. With that aside, the KP-05 1911 HI-CAPA is a great shooter and as is, with its high capacity magazine would be a perfect sidearm for any Airsoft related squirmish or even just for honing up your shooting skills when getting to the gun range is not an option.
I've already done a KJWORKS review on the KP-02, KP-07 and Elite 1A and they turned out to be very high quality Airsoft pistols so the extra price does get you a higher quality gun. So in this preview we are simply looking at some more models that from the looks of things I expect to be more of the same in terms of high quality and excellent functionality.
The KJWorks models we are looking at today are the KP-05 (1911 HI-CAPA), the KP-09 (CZ 75) and the M9 (Beretta M9). Even though none of them are licensed, they are very detailed and realistic copies of the original real steel versions with full blowback operation, heavy metal drop out magazines and lots of metal throughout. You would be hard pressed to tell them apart from the real powder versions.
All version in this preview load CO2 in the magazine along with 6mm Plastic Airsoft BB's, none of them have any orange markings or translucent parts as they fall into the uncontrolled firearms category here in Canada.
