Back in 2017 I made “Which Beretta Airgun is the Best” Video and showed off some 4.5mm Steel BB and .177 Caliber Pellet versions of my favorite Beretta 92 - M9 style Air Pistols. There have been some changes since then most noticeably the addition to Airsoft versions so I thought I would update this video with more current Beretta Airguns along with of course some of the same ones form my last video.

.177 Caliber Pellet Beretta 92 -M9 CO2 Air Pistols
Let's keep it short and simple and get right to my results. My five shot Chronic Testing to find out the real world velocity for the Gletcher TT-A Tokarev CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol shooting 5 rounds of .20 gram plastic Airsoft BB's with a brand new CO2 resulted in an average of 434 fps, not bad at all for a Blowback Airsoft Pistol!
For some reason I thought the Gletcher TT-A Tokarev CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol was shooting high so I originally time my first 10 shots at the bottom ring on my paper target and pretty much missed the target with every shot. My second go around aiming dead center on the target setup 30 feet away was much better resulting in 9 out of the 10 shots hitting all within about 3 inches of each other pretty well centered but just a tad bit low. Respectable for sure!
The Gletcher TT-A Tokarev CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol blowback is fairly heavy and it also has a fair mount of power for a CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol so you may want to use it more in an outdoor setting where you are not so close up and personal. The double action trigger is a little bit heavy but not bad and easy enough to get shots off quickly. Not a bad pistol overall and worth considering.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Gletcher TT-A CO2 Airsoft Tokarev is single action only, the blowback action cocks the hammer after each shot but you will need to either draw the hammer back or rack the slide on the first shot. I did find the the SAO trigger to be rather heavy for a single action type trigger? Perhaps it will loosen up a bit over time? The take-up is kind of long since there is no real reset that takes place after the hammer is drawn back. The release point is sudden but does take some effort to release the trigger.
Accuracy: So far I have only Field Tested the 4.5mm Steel BB version and of dun it shot in the upper 300 fps range with a pretty decent accuracy shooting a 10 shot group form 30 feet back all within 1.5 inches. Hopefully the Airsoft version can produce similar results...
Build Quality: The Gletcher TT-A CO2 Airsoft Tokarev is really nicely made overall, pretty much the entire pistol is metal except for the grips which are plastic of course. The finish looks really nice and the fit is good, not a lot of slide wiggle and all the mechanical parts function smoothly with the exception of the rather strange two piece trigger design. You really need to watch my video to see what I mean here!
Realism: I am lucky enough to own a Tokarev type semi auto real steel pistol and looking at the two of them side by side they look very much the same. Of course my Norinco Tokarev (Type 54) Model 213 is made out of hardened weapons grade steel and so it is heavier but the Gletcher TT-A CO2 Airsoft Tokarev does feel solid in the hand with it's all metal design. The working slide catch, magazine release and hammer are all in the right places and function as they should. Gletcher even made sure to have a recessed barrel and hidden CO2 screw which adds to the realism. The only real giveaways are again that rather strange looking single action trigger and the two pins near the lower front of the slide. Not a deal breaker!. I do have to mention the way the safety was implemented on this Gletcher TT-A CO2 Airsoft Tokarev, Gletcher placed it just inside the Slide Stop Retainer Clip in a kind of unobtrusive location.
Pros:
One of the only 6mm Airsoft BB shooting Tokarev replicas I have come across so far
Very solid and weighty gun for it’s size. Mostly all metal.

So far I have liked all the Gletcher guns that I have come across, it's great that Gletcher offers a lot of unique guns from the past, for me the Tokarev is near and dear to my heart since it is very 1911 like and I truly love the 1911 design. It only makes sense that I would own not only a real steel 1911 but also the Russian Tokarev. I'm not really sure how the Gletcher TT-A CO2 Airsoft Tokarev is going to perform using the chronograph and during my paper target testing from 30 feet out but I am popgun ti will shoot a bit harder than the claimed 263fps and if it can get similar accuracy as the 4.5mm steel BB version that will be great!

During this Field Test Shooting Video Review I take a look at the actual real world velocity of the Gletcher TT Tokarev Replica using my Chronograph along with some accuracy testing using paper targets with a controlled shooting position.
My Chronograph test did not go as smoothly as I would have liked but I did get enough shots to get a realistic 5 shot average 342 fps for this Gletcher TT Tokarev BB Pistol. My 5th shot was a bit lower than the first 4 since I had already shot off about 15 shots and because of the cool temperate outside the gun had cooled down a bit. On a warmer day I would expect to get close to 400 fps out of the Gletcher TT Tokarev CO2 Blowback BB Pistol.
Again this Field Test was plagued with difficulties, I actual performed my accuracy test twice for the cameras because during my first go at it, one of the cameras ran out of battery! Hey, it happens! Perhaps I felt a little rushed on my second target shooting test, since I didn't get as tight of a group as I did on the first test. The Gletcher TT is however capable of getting around a 1.5 inch grouping from 30 feet away and the TT shot very well centered for me which is good news since the sights are none adjustable.
I like the snappy blowback action, the Gletcher TT Tokarev Replica is not an overly large pistol and for such an old school design it really feels good in the hand while shooting. I also like the traditional post and notch sights. The Gletcher TT Tokarev CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is a single action only gun but I did find that the release of the trigger was a bit heavy which will take some getting used to.
Overall, the Gletcher TT Tokarev is a really nice Blowback CO2 BB Pistol and if you are into the classic BB Replica guns then it is a must have for sure.

We will have to see how well the Gletcher TT Tokarev performs once I get out and do a real test.

Yes! Some new guns for you, and that's always a good thing for everyone, especially me since I get to play with them! I have been waiting a while to get my hands on some of the .177 caliber pellet shooting versions of the Dan Wesson Revolvers. I was actually introduced to them nearly a year ago at the last SHOT Show back in January of 2014! That's a long wait for sure...
The Pellet version Dan Wesson's look really good, the quality of the pellet shells is top notch and even the redesigned inner rifled barrels look to be very high quality. ASG did not just do a quick part swap, they really though out how they wanted everything to fit together. I am looking forward to seeing how well they shoot and will be Field Testing them both together so we can see how the barrel lengths play an effect on power and accuracy.
Next up we have two Gletcher pistols, both are classic semi auto shooters from the past, the Gletcher TT which is a Replica of the Russian Tokarev, and the Gletcher P08 which is a Luger copy. Both pistols are blowback and shoot 4.5mm Steel BB's.
Both pistols incorporate single action only triggers, metal stick magazines and working safeties, a real steel Tokarev normally would not have a safety other than the half cock hammer, Gletcher added in a discreet switch style safety on the right side of their TT. Again, I look forward to shooting both of these blowback pistols as soon as the weather picks up!

I've been talking a lot about some blank gun offering for my Canada based customers and I didn't want to leave out my US located customers. As most of you Canadian blank enthusiasts are aware, blank guns are next to impossible to find in Canada right now, let alone a brand new blank gun! I have acquired "at substantial cost" 8 brand new Kimar Model 85 8mm P.A.K. Front Firing Blank Pistols that I will sell to the first 8 buyers, I will not be getting any more of these as this was purchased from a suppliers back-stock inventory.
As is with all rare items - they will not be sold cheap, this version also only comes with the orange painted slide which by the way is fairly easy to paint black or strip to a nickel finish. I stripped mine and I didn't even have any paint remover around - I simply used some paint thinner and my dremel for the stubborn areas, followed up with some Autosol metal polish to brighten it up.
The Kimar Mod. 85 Blank Pistol closely resembles the Beretta Cheetah hand gun in looks, and functionality. The Kimar Mod. 85 comes with an 8 round single stack magazine and has an orange painted slide. This model is perfect if you like the look of the Beretta 92 FS but want something just a bit smaller. The Kimar Model 85 comes with a flare adaptor and cleaning rod.
OK - This is it for now for the US blank gun additons... Just three more entires to the US store in the Blank Gun Catagory, this time from Kimar. I particalularoy like the PX4 Storm replica (Kimar P4) which also coems in a Chrome slide version!
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Kimar Model K 760 is a bit stiff but on a beginner gun I would recommend the trigger to be on the heavy side for safety reasons and also to teach correct trigger control. It did not seem to effect my shooting at all which was nice.
Accuracy: Very good, I was surprised at the tight group I got from a semi rested position and with open sights, I nearly got a 3/4 inch group from 30 feet out which is about the best I can expect from just about any gun I have shot in the same manner. The Kimar Model K 760 spring piston break barrel rifle also shot true to it's claimed feet per second rating and got right around the 450 fps velocity mark.
Build Quality: The Kimar K 760 .177 air rifle is not going to win any prizes for style or craftsmanship but it gets the job done and in about as simple a manner as is required. With that said, what can really go wrong with it?Crank the barrel and pull the trigger. The lack of a safety does not really bother me as I never ever trust a safety and it's always good to learn how to keep a gun safe at all times even when you "believe" it is not loaded or ready to shoot. There is some plastic found on the Kimar K 760 like in the sights and the stock but the mechanical parts are all metal including the trigger.
Coming in at around $50, you can not ask the world from the Kimar Mod. K 760 .177 Caliber Spring Piston Rifle! What you can ask for is for decent accuracy and usable fps, and that's exactly what you are going to get from the Kimar K 760. This break barrel air rifle is really perfect for a beginner shooter on a budget or even for someone who may want to pack it around in some ugly situations where you wouldn't want to subject your high priced top quality air rifle. For the money you really can't lose with this one!
Looking for an ultra compact, super inexpensive, Italian made air rilfe for target or small pest control? Look no further!
This brand new air Italian made rifle from Kimar in .177 caliber is an ideal first air rifle for plinking targets in the back yard and because of it's very compact size it is excellent for small or first time shooters. Don't assume it doesn't have any power? You get up to 450fps velocities which makes the Kimar K 760 useful for shooting small rodents.
The Kimar 760 is very inexpensive yet has a high quality finish on the synthetic stock and metal work and fires accurate groups from 15 meters out with its open sights which are adjustable for windage and elevation.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Crosman - Kimar CK92 is absolutely excellent! Single action is very light and smooth and double action is almost exactly the same. The CK92 has one of the lightest and smoothest double action trigers out of all my airguns and that's saying a lot!
Accuracy: I shot the Crosman - Kimar CK92 air pistol at a target from 20 feet away in a free standing position, and it performed well getting about a two inch grouping right close to the center, just to the right. Most of the rounds stayed in a one inch group while two rounds strayed away a bit. I had a very awkward grip due to my camera mount so I know this guns should get closer to a one inch grouping with some getting used to it and using a standard grip. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation so hitting the bullseye would not take much work. My Chronograph testing started out a bit rough due to the 10 year absence of shooting this gun but once I blew out some of the cobwebs it settled in at around the 350 fps mark and I was also able to get 10 magazines worth of shots before I noticed a drop in performance.
Build Quality: The Crosman- Kimar CK92 is built like a tank, it is probably one of my heaviest pellet pistols weighing in at 2.6 pounds! The build quality and craftsmanship is very nice with most of the gun being made out of metal and only a couple parts made from plastic like the grips and part of the rear sight. You can really feel the quality of this gun when you pick it up and squeeze the trigger a few times.
Realism:The CK92 pellet air pistol is a very nice copy of the real steel Beretta 92FS and considering it was made some 10 years ago when most replica air guns still looked mostly like air guns. You really have to give Crosman and Kimar credit for making this gun so close to the actual Beretta 92FS. Everything is exactly where it would normally be on the real Beretta and most of the mechanical part are functional, even if they serve a different purpose as it is an airgun after all.
The price is right, especially for this condition of collectors item!

This was a very different review for me to do, a part of me wanted to just put my two CK92's away in a safe place and just keep them as collectors guns but I was also very curious to see if the CK92 performed as well as it looked and felt. Curiosity got the best of me as you can see and I am glad I ended up testing at least my Chrome CK92 because it was a real joy to shoot and it didn't let me down in any way. I am not going to recommend the CK92 airgun for anyone who plans to shot it regularly because I really believe that 10 year old valves and seals have a lot more potential to fail then a new airgun and getting replacement part will not be easy for this very fine air pistol. That said, you may get lucky because it's a very well made air gun. Personally I am going to put both my Chrome and Black Crosman - Kimar CK92's in a nice safe place and treasure them like you would anything rare and valuable. I think these guns are selling at a steel of a price right now and when they are all gone I just know people will be offering me several times the price I paid for my personal Chrome and Black Crosman - Kimar CK92's, and I will tell you my answer right now... Sorry, these guns are not for sale.
