Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on Umarex T4E HK VP9 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol feels a lot like a double action trigger mainly because when you pull the trigger, the inner barrel travels backwards into the magazine placing a paintball round in the barrel which seals the barrel with the magazine so less CO2 is wasted. This does make the trigger a little bit longer and heavier than a single action trigger because of the added friction. The internal hammer/striker is engaged from the blowback action which does help lesson the overall triggers pull weight.
Accuracy: So far I have not had the opportunity to test the Umarex T4E HK VP9 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol, so stay posted for my upcoming Field Test Shooting Video where I will see what kind of velocity and accuracy we can expect from the Umarex T4E HK VP9 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol. Build Quality: The build quality of the Umarex T4E HK VP9 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol is good overal, you will find metal parts are where you would expect them to be, in the slide, slide catch, barrel, magazine and most internal parts giving the Umarex T4E HK VP9 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol a decent overall weight of almost 2 pounds with the magazine in which makes the Paintball version feel comparable to a real steel HK VP9 (710 grams - 25 ounces). The T4E HK VP9 does have a polymer frame but again this is normal with todays modern guns and helps keep the weight down. Fit and finish is also very good!
Realism: The Umarex T4E HK VP9 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol is a fully licensed replica of the real steel HK VP9 via its Umarex Licensing. The Umarex T4E HK VP9 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol is made specifically as a training tool for owners of similar real steel HK Handguns so for that reason it is made to replicate its powder burning counterpart very closely. You will find that the slide cycle distance is a bit shorter than it would be meaning that when the side catch is engaged the slide does not go as far back in the 9mm version. Field stripping the Umarex T4E HK VP9 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol will requires some tools and pin removal.
Pros:
Accurate weight and solid feeling gun.
Full Metal slide that locks back on the last shot.
All metal heavy full size drop out magazine adds some additional weight to the gun.
Good for real steel H&K VP9 owners looking for a similar training weapon.
Everything works pretty much like the real gun so again great as a training tool.

The Umarex T4E HK VP9 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol is mechanically very close to the Umarex Walther PPQ M2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol and the Umarex T4E S&W M&P9 M2.0 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol in how it functions as a Paintball Pistol so I expect all of them to shoot very similarly and that’s not a bad thing since previous versions I have tested so far have performed rather well for me in the Replica Airguns Sea Can Indoor Shooting Range. If you are an HK fan then the Umarex T4E HK VP9 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol is about as close as you are going to get in a Replica Paintball Pistol. Owning the paintball version will allow for a lot more opportunities to get some trigger time in and hone your shooting skill with a very similar gun to the one you my own, and at a fraction off the cot to 9mm ammo.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on Umarex T4E TR68 .68 Caliber Paintball Revolver is double action only but not very long with a much smoother feel than the TR50, so maybe Umarex did some improving here. without any ammo in it the T4E TR68 trigger feels responsive for a double action trigger. We will have to see when I do my Field Test Shooting Video how it performs and if fully loaded up and primed, if it feels the same?
Accuracy: So far I have not had the opportunity to test the Umarex T4E TR68 .68 Caliber Paintball Revolver out, the only other similar product that may compare would be the Umarex T4E TR50 but I have a feeling both these guns will perform rather different since the ammo is a lot larger on the TR68. Also with the way the different triggers feel, I expect this to help with performance on the Umarex T4E TR68.
Build Quality: The build quality of the Umarex T4E TR68 .68 Caliber Paintball Revolver is good overall. It is a mostly plastic build with some metal parts where they need to be internally. It is essentially two plastic halves held together by small screws with few actual mechanical working external parts. You have the trigger with its working trigger safety, the removable magazine and magazine release and of course the quick puncture CO2 screw knob. The hammer is internal. The Umarex T4E TR68 .68 Caliber Paintball Revolver is not very heavy but it does feel really solid in the hand because of its very large size.
Realism: The Umarex T4E TR68 .68 Caliber Paintball Revolver is not really a replica per say of any real steel gun that I know of. It does share a lot of similarities with the Crosman Vigilante which is a CO2 BB/Pellet Revolver with its main design going back several decades. The Umarex T4E TR68 .68 Caliber Paintball Revolver looks similar to what a modern looking large caliber revolver such as a 357 or 44 magnum looks like. It is not going to fool anyone up close that you actually have a real steel revolver but then again I don’t think if you are shooting it at anyone they are going to want to get all that close to you :)
Pros:
Hoping to get a bit more raw energy out of the T4E TR.68 than the TR50 as it uses larger heavier ammo. (TR50 averaged 328 using rubber balls for reference).
Lots of mounting options for accessories like a tac light, laser or other sighting option with it’s upper and lower picatinny rail setup.
Quick CO2 pierce system so you can leave a CO2 in it ready to go any time with no worries about CO2 leaking out while in storage.
Working Trigger Safety.
White dot sights super easy to see on targets of varying colors and shades.
DOA Trigger feels pretty decent, not too long or heavy.
Comes with 3 total magazines you can preload ready for use.
Super non-complicated design. Once loaded with CO2 and Paintballs or Rubber Balls, all you need to do is hit the CO2 knob and then pull the trigger.
Build quality feels good, the gun is fairly beefy but not overly heavy.
Grip is normal size even thought the gun itself is fairly large.

Mostly all plastic build.
Sights are not adjustable so hopefully it is well centered out of the box.

The Umarex T4E TR68 .68 Caliber Paintball Revolver is an interesting Paintball gun, overseas versions are marketed as the HDR86 which stands for “Home Defense Revolver”, while the North American or Canada version is marketed as the TR68 for “Training Revolver”. This is mainly because in Europe most countries are not allowed to own real handguns but can own “Self Defense handguns”. In the US real handguns are very easy to obtain and can be used for self defense. Just across the border here in Canada we can not really purposely have on hand anything that we plan to use as a weapon for self defense so the Umarex T4E TR68 .68 Caliber Paintball Revolver, like the TR50 is marketed as a Training Revolver. What’s the difference? Not much, our North American 230+ fps version is a lot like the lower powered German versions in terms of power but you can also get more powerful versions in the UK. All that said, the Umarex T4E TR68 .68 Caliber Paintball Revolver at least here in Canada is made and marketed as a Training Paintball gun maybe not all that suitable on the field? What you decide to do with it is up to you.

Propulsion: CO2 x 1. Action: Semi auto blowback, DOA trigger. Ammunition Type: .177 caliber pellets. Ammunition Capacity: 21 round drop out full size metal magazine. FPS: Claimed 370.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 CO2 Blowback Pellet Pistol is what I would describe as closer to a DOA (Double Action Only) trigger. The blowback action does retract the internal hammer/striker which does relieve some of the trigger pull but the trigger is also used to rotate the belt magazine which gives the trigger a kind of friction feel especially right at the end of the pull where the rotation occurs. That said it is not a terrible trigger like some other belt fed Airguns but it is certainly nutlike a standard SAO type Glock trigger.
Accuracy: At this point I have not shot the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 CO2 Blowback Pellet Pistol so I can only quote what Umarex is saying in terms of FP2 which is 370. That sounds a bit high for a pellet Airgun but they may be claiming this velocity using a light weight pellets perhaps made out of an alloy rather than lead? I guess we will find out the real world fps using lead pellets and also how accurate it will be when I do my Full Field Test Shooting Video.
Build Quality: The Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 CO2 Blowback Pellet Pistol like most of the Umarex Glocks is very well made. I am thinking that Glock to allow Umarex to license Glock Pistols hammy have a quality control as part of this license agreement? Either way the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 CO2 Blowback Pellet Pistol is a solid and well built Airgun all around with quality material and very good fit and finish.
Realism: The Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 CO2 Blowback Pellet Pistol in terms of realism as compared to a real steel Glock 19 Gen 5 for sure hits the mark in most categories. It is a bit lighter and you can not field strip it easily, there is also the not so much recessed barrel that is a bit of a giveaway but in terms of most other attributes the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 replicates a real Glock… Including the basic looks and feel, the metal slide and polymer frame, the full size drop out metal magazine, the blowback action and most of the working parts including the slide catch release, magazine release and trigger safety.
Pros:
Good weight and feel to it, build quality and fit and finish seem very good.
Really nice looking and full featured replica of the original Glock 17 Gen 5.
Fully Glock licensed via Umarex.
Easy to see white dot sights front and back.

I think many of us having been waiting for a pellet shooting version of the Glock from Umarex. I am a bit surprised they went with a belt fed version as belt fed magazines tend to be a bit on the heavy trigger pull side. Yes the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 CO2 Blowback Pellet Pistol has a stronger trigger pull as compared to a 4.5mm BB or 6mm Airsoft version of the same Umarex gun, as most of these Umarex based Glocks utilize a SAO trigger which is more comparable to a real steel Glock. On the plus side the Pellet version should be a bit more accurate, but we will see how this pans out when I do my comprehensive Field Test Shooting Video for the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 CO2 Blowback Pellet Pistol.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Stainless Ruger Mark IV Break Barrel .177 Cal Pellet Pistolis not too bad, I feel it is a around 6-7 pounds or so without measuring. In comparison to a real steel 22LR semi auto SAO trigger pistol, the trigger is much heavier but most of these 22LR pistols of this nature have what I would consider to be near perfect triggers. Over time once you get use to the pressure and release point accuracy with this pistol it is for sure possible.
Accuracy: I have tested out the all black version of this pistol which will perform exactly the same or should I say is expected to perform the same since they are virtually the exact same Pellet Pistol but in different finishes. You can watch my Field Test Shooting Video for the all black version but in case you don’t make it there I will fill you in on the basic results… In terms of velocity I averaged 312 fps using 7 grain lead pellets and got around a 2 inch 7 rounds grouping but expect with a bit more trigger time to get closer to 1 inch.
Build Quality: The Stainless Ruger Mark IV Break Barrel .177 Cal Pellet Pistolis a low cost target plinker that also doubles as a licensed Replica for that coolness factor so you won’t get an all metal super top quality build here. That said metal and plastics are well used and for sure details in the fit and finish have been improved over the Buck Mark URX version where I found the barrel felt a bit sloppy and the trigger was plastic. The Umarex Ruger Mark IV Break Barrel .177 Cal Pellet Pistol has a much tighter barrel fit when closed and the trigger is now metal! Maybe Umarex watched my video back in the day and took some notes?
Realism: The Umarex Ruger Mark IV Break Barrel .177 Cal Pellet Pistol most resembles the Mark IV Hunter edition and is pretty much bang on in terms of being a replica other than the tell tail hinge just under the barrel required for a spring piston design, there really is no way to get around this so I’m not going to criticize this minor difference. The real steel version is almost 3 pounds and so the pellet shooting version is a bit under weight so it would have been to have had more metal perhaps in the barrel and lower frame. Again since the pellet shooting version is a springer you will not have any working bolts or slide catches or a built in magazine.

Expect it to have really good accuracy like the Umarex Browning Buck Mark URX since they share similar mechanical design.

Comments: The Stainless Ruger Mark IV Break Barrel .177 Cal Pellet Pistol is a decent looking replica and a decent pellet shooting target pistol and if you own the real steel version in 22LR you may just want to get your hands on one of these Break Barrel Replica Pellet shooters. The only real question is do you get the Stainless version with simulated wood grips or the all black version? If you like the look of the stainless version and don’t care about money whatsoever, then pickup that one up since it is a Limited Edition version that will only go up in value over time. If you are on a budget and don’t mind the look of the all black versions or maybe even prefer it then by all means grab one since at the end of the day they will both perform exactly the same.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex S&W M&P 9L Blowback CO2 Airsoft Pistol is fairly light weight being a single action only trigger. There is about a quarter inch of take up with an easy release that is not hitchy at all. You will need to rack the slide to load your first Airsoft BB into the breach and engage the action but on the first shot but then the blowback action does this for you until the Airsoft Pistol is out of ammo and the slide locks back.
Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the Umarex S&W M&P 9L Blowback CO2 Airsoft Pistol so stay posted for that video coming out in the next couple of weeks. Umarex has claimed a velocity of around 410 FPS using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s but that does seem a bit quick, well will have to see when I place some shots though my Chronograph! In terms of accuracy I expect it to shoot about the same as most Full Blowback Airsoft Pistols which generally produces a 1.5 to 2 inch 10 shot grouping from 30 feet out using a semi rested shooting position. Again we will find out when I perform my Field Test Shooting Video for the Umarex S&W M&P 9L Blowback CO2 Airsoft Pistol.
Build Quality: The Umarex S&W M&P 9L Blowback CO2 Airsoft Pistol build quality is fairly decent, fit and finish looks good with not too much slide wiggle and the materials used are both metal and plastic or polymer that look to be good quality. I do expect some of the black finishes ot come off on the high spots as these guns are generally electroplated and not too thick with it but this can actually make the gun look more realistic with that slightly worn in look to it.
Realism: The Umarex S&W M&P 9L Blowback CO2 Airsoft Pistol in terms of looking like the real steel version of its counterpart is very close for sure, it would be hard to tell without really taking a close look t it. Everything about this Replica Pistol works for the most part like the real steel version including most of the mechanical parts like the slide catch release, magazine release, take down lever, trigger safety and you can even fully field strip it which gives you easy access to the hopup on the barrel. Of course the full blowback action really seals the deal in terms of making this gun shoot like a real semi auto pistol.

I’m glad they made it in full blowback but being Airsoft based that is generally the way they lean towards. Hopefully we get to see 4.5mm Steel BB version too in the future! For now we have it in Airsoft and with the longer barrel perhaps it will shoot a bit hotter than most of the other CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistols, maybe even 410fps like Umarex claims but I will be surprised if it does. I will be happy to see something in the high 300’s to be honest. No matter what, you now have yet another Smith & Wesson option to consider when looking for your ultimate Replica Airgun!

Trigger Pull: The trigger on the Umarex HK MP7 .177 Cal Break Barrel Pellet Gun is single action only requiring you to break the barrel and compress the internal spring piston before you can shoot it. The actual trigger pull is pretty decent overall. There is very little take-up but the creep is on the longer side but fairly smooth requiring medium pressure. The release is a bit hard at first to predict but nothing some trigger time can’t get you use to.
Accuracy: I have not performed any shooting tests with the Umarex HK MP7 .177 Cal Break Barrel Pellet Gun so far. I hope to make that Video Review next week. I expect the Umarex HK MP7 .177 Cal Break Barrel Pellet Gun to perform well in the accuracy department especially with the included Red Dot Optical Scope installed. I hope the velocity rating from Umarex is based on lead pellets and not hyper velocity light weight pellets but we will find out the story when I perform my Field Test Shooting Video shortly!
Build Quality: The Umarex HK MP7 .177 Cal Break Barrel Pellet Gun is a China made Airgun but looks to be well made. It has lots of metal parts as you would expect from a Spring Piston Rifle which adds a nice weight and feel to it. I did however have an issue with the front plastic mock Suppressor/Compensator as it does not seem to be attached to the metal barrel very well other than being pressure fit which is not going to cut it with all the vibration a spring piston system makes. My first shot loosened the mock Suppressor/Compensator so I will either have to hold it when shooting or find another way to make sure it stays in place.
Realism: The Umarex HK MP7 .177 Cal Break Barrel Pellet Gun is kind of unique in this department as most break barrel rifles are not Replicas, especially the more compact sub machine gun styled ones. Umarex did good job making the Umarex HK MP7 .177 Cal Break Barrel Pellet Gun look like a real HK MP7 for the most part. Of course it is a Spring Piston Rifle at its core so exceptions had to be made to make this work including molded non working parts like the magazine release, sector switch and, bolt/ejection port. That said all in all it is a decent looking replica considering it is a Break Barrel Airgun under the skin.

Not many Replica Pellet Rifles on the market, especially in a more compact gun.

Comments: The Umarex HK MP7 .177 Cal Break Barrel Pellet Gun is an interesting product, on one hadn't it is a Replica Airgun and most people expect a Replica Airgun to have all of the appropriate working parts similar to what would be found on the real steel version. But since this is a Break Barrel Airgun at the core the Umarex HK MP7 .177 Cal Break Barrel Pellet Gun will not function the same as the Real Steel version so as long as you don’t expect it to and appreciate the fact that it should be a nice accurate low cost to operate target rifle then I think you will understand this product and enjoy it for what it is… A Single Shot Pellet Rifle that looks a lot like a HK MP7.
For this Video 2 Accuracy Test I shoot all of the above listed Airguns at a paper target setup 30 feet down range using a semi rested shooting position with my hands resting on a sand bag up front and seated on a stool in the back. It’s not perfect but works well enough. I didn’t take a ton of time with each gun since there where 4 to shoot in this Field Test Shooting Video so accuracy may have been a bit better if I took a little more time with each gun.
In Video 2 I test the power and penetration of each Airgun option shooting at a pop can, a soup can and a toilet paper roll so make sure to watch that video if you have not already watched it.
For this Video 1 Power Test I shoot all of the above listed Airguns first at a pop can, then a soup can and then a toilet paper roll. The ides is to test penetration abilities with the pop and soup can and then raw force shooting the toilet paper as it will absorb all the energy from each airgun round and by gauging how much the toilet paper reacts or moves it should tell us which airgun has the most raw power or energy.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on Umarex T4E Glock 17 Gen5 CO2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol feels a lot like a double action trigger mainly because when you pull the trigger the inner barrel travels backwards into the magazine placing a paintball round in the barrel which seals the barrel with the magazine so less CO2 is wasted. This does make the trigger a little bit longer and heavier than a single action trigger. The internal hammer/striker is engaged from the blowback action reducing the friction on the trigger. In terms of it being similar to a Glock trigger pull it will be a bit heavier and longer but not bad overall.
Accuracy: So far I have not had the opportunity to test the Umarex T4E Glock 17 Gen5 CO2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol out so stay posted for my future Field Test Shooting Video where I will see what kind of velocity and accuracy we can expect from it. For now you can watch my Field Test Shooting Video for the Umarex T4E Walther PPQ M2 .43 Caliber Paintball Pistol as it is very similar in design and should for the most part perform about the same.
Build Quality: The build quality of the Umarex T4E Glock 17 Gen5 CO2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol is really very good, metal parts are where you would expect them, the slide, slide catch, barrel, magazine and most internal parts giving the Umarex T4E Glock 17 Gen5 CO2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol a solid 1.6 pound overall weight with the magazine in. The fit and finish is also very good with virtually no slide wiggle to be found.
Realism: The Umarex T4E Glock 17 Gen5 CO2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol is a licensed Glock Replica via Umarex which owns the licensing so you will find Glock licensing and branding throughout this Paintball Pistol. Just looking at the Umarex T4E Glock 17 Gen5 CO2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol you would find it hard to tell the difference between it and the real steel Glock 17 Gen5 but there are some notable differences as in the length of the slide travel which is about half of what you would expect from a real Glock. This is to account for the obvious internal differences to allow for CO2 and paintballs to be used. Overall the Umarex T4E Glock 17 Gen5 CO2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol would make a great training pistol if you are a Glock owner and want to use the closest gun to it.
Pros:
Really great weight and solid feeling gun.
Full Metal slide that locks back on the last shot.
All metal heavy full size drop out magazine adds some additional weight to the gun.
Good for Glock shooters looking for a training weapon.
Everything works pretty much like the real gun so again great as a training tool.
Easy to see white dot sights front and back.
Working trigger safety.
Fit and finish is excellent.
Magazine spring release really shoots the magazine out so be warned!

Cons:
Trigger is a bit heavy, not as light as a real Glock, more of a double action trigger in function.
Magazine only holds 8 rounds, so you are going to need extra magazines for sure.
Blowback action is not full blowback, more like a typical half blowback BB gun.

The Umarex T4E Glock 17 Gen5 CO2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol is another great addition to the Replica Paintball Pistol options out there and if you are a Glock owner looking for a training gun you can use for some additional trigger time outside of a gun range or want to perform realistic training exercises with live players then the Umarex T4E Glock 17 Gen5 CO2 .43 Cal. Paintball Pistol will fill this need. I am looking forward to testing it out when I make My Field Test Shooting Video as Umarex claims it to have significantly higher fps (350-400) then some of the other replica T4E Paintball guns I have reviewed so far. Back in 2017 I made “Which Beretta Airgun is the Best” Video and showed off some 4.5mm Steel BB and .177 Caliber Pellet versions of my favorite Beretta 92 - M9 style Air Pistols. There have been some changes since then most noticeably the addition to Airsoft versions so I thought I would update this video with more current Beretta Airguns along with of course some of the same ones form my last video.

.177 Caliber Pellet Beretta 92 -M9 CO2 Air Pistols
Type: BB Air pistol. Distributer:Umarex. Model:Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0. Materials: Metal and polymer build. Weight: 1.45 pounds (658 grams). Barrel: 3.6 inches, non-rifled. Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex S&W M&P 9 M2.0 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol is about medium weight and is on the longer side to allow for the internal mechanism that pushes a BB for the magazine into the breach of the gun with each pull of the trigger. This does add a bit of additional resistance especially when the magazine is full of BB’s. As the magazine empties the spring resistance becomes less and makes the friction on the trigger less noticeable. When the slide blows back this does cock the internal hammer/striker allowing for less trigger pull then if the hammer is not actuated but I would say the trigger feels more like a double action trigger than a single action trigger even though most shots will be fired in single action.
Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the Umarex S&W M&P 9 M2.0 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol so stay posted for that. Umarex has claimed an velocity of around 375 FPS adn this Airgun shoudl be abel to achieve that with it’s partial blowback more effect use of CO2. In terms of accuracy well I guess we will find out when I make my shooting review…
Build Quality: The Umarex S&W M&P 9 M2.0 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol build quality is fairly decent , fit and finish looks good with not too much slide wiggle and the materials used are both metal and plastic or polymer that look to be good quality.
Realism: The Umarex S&W M&P 9 M2.0 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol in terms of looking like the real steel version of its counterpart is very close for sure, would be hard to tell without further investigation. Umarex has done a great job of making this Blowback Airguns look believable by covering the CO2 screw, recessing the barrel and even working the manual safety into the right side slide catch release. In terms of operation the Umarex S&W M&P 9 M2.0 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol functions as you would expect other than it can not be easily filed striped and the blowback operation does not cycle back as much as a full blowback gun would.
Pros:
Very accurate replica of the S&W M&P 9 M2.0.
Fairly accurate weight and feel to it.
Metal and plastic parts where you find them on the real steel version, fit and finish is good.
Working trigger and manual safety and working slide catch and release.
Full size dropout metal magazine that holds BB's and CO2.

Comments: Overall the Umarex S&W M&P 9 M2.0 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol makes for a nice replica Blowback Airgun version of the S&W M&P 9 M2.0. There are some compromises with this version mainly the partial blowback operation that does make the trigger a bit heavier and longer than a true single action trigger would be, the slide does not cycle as fully as expected either and y9ou can not easily field strip this version. That said the shorter blowback action and the way the BB is pushed forward into the breach before each shot means that the Umarex S&W M&P 9 M2.0 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol will have a high FPS and will also get more shots per CO2. So you decide what may be more important to you at the end of the day? True realism or better performance?

In this Field Test Shooting Video I test out the Umarex Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Pistol in the Replica Airguns Indoor Sean Airgun Shooting range. This product now comes with the longer sticking out barrel to increase the FPS for import into Canada to get it up and over the 360 FPS cut off using a .20 gram Airsoft BB. I wanted to see how much of a difference the shorter barrel would make so I will be comparing the short barrel with the long barrel to find out the FPS and accuracy differences. In the Video I only shoot the Umarex Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Pistol with the short barrel but in my next video I Shot the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 GBB Airsoft Pistol with its included long barrel for comparison.
For the velocity portion of this test I placed 5 .25 gram Airsoft BB’s through my Chronograph and was please to get a very consistent 276 average FPS reading with the slowest shot hitting 274 FPS and the fastest shot hitting 278 FPS so really close. Keep in mind I was using .25 gram Airsoft BB’s rather than .20 gram Airsoft BB’s so I would imagine the Umarex Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Pistol even using the shorter barrel should hit closer to 300 FPS with the lighter Airsoft BB’s.
In terms of accuracy the Umarex Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Pistol also performed really well, I did not make any adjustments to the gun after installing the shorter barrel not even to the hopup. I was pleased to see a fairly well centered 10 shot grouping mostly within a 2 inch grouping with perhaps one flyer extending that group to about 2.5 inches. All shots where well centered left to right but just a light bit under the target, a quick hopup adjustment should rectify that.
My next Vimeo Video will be focusing on the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 GBB Airsoft Pistol with its included long barrel to see what kind of velocity gains we get for it and if the longer barrel helps with accuracy at all so look for that video early next week!

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 and Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Pistols is fairly short with only a little bit of take up, the release is light and crips. The blowback action resets the internal Hammer / Striker with each shot for that true single action trigger and it’s also nice that the trigger does have a working trigger safety like the real steel versions.
Accuracy: At this point I have not shot either of the long barrel Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 and Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Pistols so I can only quote what Umarex is saying in terms of FPS which is around 410 using Green Gas or Propane. These longer barreled versions should shoot fairly hot compared to the much shorter barreled versions and since i do have a short barrel Glock 17 Gen 4 I may also compare it at the same time to see what the actual barrel length does in terms of fps velocity. Of course my Field test Shooting video will also focus on accuracy add see what can be accomplished shooting a 10 shot grouping at 30 feet down range.
Build Quality: TheUmarex Glock 17 Gen 4 and Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Pistols seems well made overall. It does seem a little bit underweight but still feels solid enough in the hand, Glocks are not known for being all that hefty. The Slide is metal but has a bit of an unusual finish that makes it look a lot like the plastic frame rather than a more shiny metal look. All the parts seem to fit nicely, maybe even a bit snug at first as I noticed the side had a bit of friction to it but seems to be working in nicely now.
Realism: The Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 and Glock 19 Gen 3 GBB Airsoft Pistols look the part of these Glocks all day long. Other then the slightly lighter weight it would be hard to tell off hand until you remove the magazine and take a closer look. All the parts work as you would expect them to, similar to the real steel version and you can even fully field strip the them which makes getting to and adjusting the hop-up easy enough to do. Getting the Umarex BB versions of the Glock 17 and Glock 19 has for sure been a bit easier since fps velocity is not a factor. So it’s great that we at least have a way to import these two Umarex Glock GBB Airsoft Pistols into Canada! Yes some home modifications may be required to cut down the inner barrel as the long extended barrels are certainly not practical for every day shooting. That said with the extended long barrels I did get out and shoot a few rounds through them and the added barrel length really does allow for a much faster velocity Airsoft BB making these Umarex GBB Airsoft Glocks more like snipper pistols :)

This may the one of the most Airguns I have tested out at the same time here in the Replica Airguns Indoor Shooting Range. It took a little bit longer than normal but I go through it with only one of the CO2 Blowback BB Pistols acting up juts a bit at the beginning. What exactly was the purpose of testing out 5 CO2 Blowback BB Pistols all together? I wanted to compare my most compact CO2 Blowback BB Pistols to each other to see which one performed the best in my Chronograph Velocity Test and 30 foot 10 Round Target Test. There was no definitive clear winner at the end of the day two of the Air Pistols performed almost the same and then the rest kind of lingered behind them to lesser degrees.

After my Umarex Walther PPK/S Revisit Videos several people commented about comparing the Umarex Walther PPK/S to some more similar Compact Blowback Airguns other than the KWC Makarov PM. The Sig Sauer 936 came up a few times and so I figured I would see what I could find in terms of some other compact CO2 Blowback BB Pistols.

As always with my Indoor Filed Test Shooting Videos I test out the velocity of each Airgun along with the accuracy but in this case I want to see how a nearly 20 year old Blowback BB Pistol stacks up agains a much more modern similar BB Pistol. The closest CO2 Powered Blowback BB Pistol to the Umarex Walther PPK/S CO2 Blowback BB Pistol as far as I could tell was the KWC Makarov Full Blowback BB Pistol since both are about the same size, share a similar look and design, have similar velocities and should perform relatively the same.
I’m not going to give it all alway in this written version of my Umarex Walther PPK/S CO2 Blowback BB Pistol Field Test Revisit, so you will ahed to watch my YouTube Video to find out. I will say both guns performed well and for the first ever working slide with simulated blowback action BB pistol ever made, I would say it holds its own against todays more modern airgun designs.
Way back in 2006 I made a video called the World Smallest Full Auto BB Pistol and uploaded it to YouTube then I kind of forgot about it fro a while… A few months later I went back and checked on it and had received around 100,000 video views and I lost my mind for a bit. It made me wonder perhaps if people wanted to see more Airgun Videos so I started making the occasional Airguns Video when I bought a new Airgun and uploaded them to YouTube. They kept getting decent views and people seemed to want to watch them so I decided maybe starting an Airgun Blog that I could link my YouTube Videos to would be something people would be interested in?
Well that was how the Replica Airguns YouTube Channel and Website all began and since then things have really grown with over 300 thousand Subscribers, 138 million Video Views and over a thousand Video made to date.
I figures it was time to take a look back at the Airgun that started things all off and see if it still stands up to the newer Airguns on the market. That Airgun is the Umarex Walther PPK/S CO2 Blowback BB Pistol which by the way was Umarex’s first ever BB Pistol and was also the first BB pistol to have a working blowback slide. I tried to find out exactly when the Umarex Walther PPK/S CO2 Blowback BB Pistol went into production but could not find this exact info but I’m guessing it is around 20 years old by now.
As far as I know there are no new Walther PPK or PPK/S Steel BB pistols on the market, perhaps some in 6mm Airsoft versions so the closest 4.5mm BB Airgun I could compare it to was the Makarov line of Airguns, Umarex and KWC have made versions of the Makarov including the original Umarex non blowback all metal Makarov, the Umarex Legends Blowback Makarov Ultra and the KWC Full Blowback Makarov PM. Of course there is the Baikal Makarov but that is a gun that is hard to compare to other Airguns so I left that one out of the picture.
In this video I compare the Umarex Walther PPK/S CO2 Blowback BB Pistol to the newer Makarov BB Pistols to see if it holds up at least in terms of appearance and features and to be honest other than the plastic stick magazine it really does hold up considering its age and how much time Airgun Manufacturers have had to make improvements over the years.

This is a bit of a different test than my usual Indoor Field Test Shooting Video I make here in the Replica Airguns indoor shooting range. I don’t test the feet per second with my Chronograph, I don’t test how accurate each gun is shooting in semi auto. Instead this Full Auto BB Rifle comparisons is to find out which Full Auto BB rifle has the highest rate of fire and which one stays on target the best shooting 25 rounds in full auto, all in one burst.

I often have people ask me what is more powerful in terms of one gun over another and which Airguns have more raw power, BB versus, Pellet, versus Airsoft, versus Paintball?
Well in this indoor field test shooting video I compare all of the above head to head to see which Airgun not only has the most raw power but also how well they perform on a target setup 30 feet down range since after all what does it matter how powerful a gun is if it can not hit the target!

Keep in mind the ammunition for each Airgun is very different not just in terms of materials but also their weight which will have a big effect on the energy they produce. For example for this test I used 4.6 grain 4.5mm Steel BBs, 4.6 grain 6mm Aluminum Airsoft BB’s. 6.9 grain .177 cal. Lead Pellets and 17.7 grain .50 cal. Rubber Paintballs.
