If you have been watching my Video Reviews you may have picked up on the fact that I am a bit of a 1911 fan! Perhaps it goes back to my Magnum PI day, I am sure I have watched every episode a bunch of times as a kid and growing up, Tom Selleck’s side arm of choice was the classic Colt 1911 A1 and I guess it brushed off on me. I just like the look and feel of the classic 1911!
There have been a number of BB firing Airguns that have come out over the years so I thought I would go over a few of my favorite versions and talk a little bit about their history and cover a few different version most actually made by KWC based off of their original full blowback CO2 1911.
Here are links to my YouTube Video Reviews for the CO2 BB Airguns I show and discuss in this video:
I know this video is going to excite many of you if you already like the basic KWC 1911 and PT92, also known as the Tanfoglio Witness, GSG 92 and many other almost exactly the same guns from Swiss Arms, Gletcher, Cybergun and even Umarex and Crosman.
There are tons of these KWC CO2 Blowback BB Pistols and Airsoft Pistols on the market in various versions with all kinds of different licensing on them and I have seen lots of custom modification photos from my viewers showing me how thy have striped and polished their KWC blowback Air Pistols and even added real wood grips.
That's why I think it's super cool that now you can get your already blinged out and polished Cybergun/KWC 1911 or PT92 and realy for not a lot more money at the end of the day! The real problems is availability since these stainless versions are in high demand.
So what are we looking at in this video? I have two Cybergun/KWC 1911's one is a basic 1911 A1 with a parkerized and stainless frame and slide, you also have a real wood look grip (Looks like wood but is not actually wood...) The basic Swiss Arms 1911 has been called the SA 1911 Seventies Stainless Pistol while the more tactical Swiss Arms SA 1911 is rightfully called the SA 1911 Tactical Rail System since it has a lot more tactical features like a rail, ambidextrous safety, white dot sights, and tactical trigger and hammer.
The Swiss Arms SA 92 Stainless which is essentially very similar to the GSG 92 or KWC PT92 again offers a parkerized and stainless frame and slide with the simulated wood grips.
Make sure to watch my update video for these three very attractive Swiss Arms CO2 Blowback BB Pistols from Cybergun/KWC and if you're interested in purchasing one you like then see if we have them in stock in our Canada Replica Airguns Store.
With the popularity of the KWC - Cybergun 1911 Blowback CO2 Pistols and how super realistic they are in so many ways, it is no surprise that people often ask me if they can replace the original grips with grips made for a real 1911.
The short answer is yes you can! You will have to be prepared to remove just a little bit of material from the backside of both grips near the bottom of the handle where there is an area that has been flared out to accommodate the CO2. Not really a big deal, you can use a Dremel for the quick and easy approach or even some sand paper if you don't mind taking a little more time.
Ammunition Capacity: 17 round full size metal magazine.
FPS: 380 using .20 gram BB's.
This is a Mini Review for the KWC/Cybergun Colt M1911 A1 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol. I have already reviewed other KWC version of this all metal realistic CO2 blowback pistol in both 6mm Airsoft and 4.5mm Steel BB and in a variety of different finishes so if you are interested in a more detailed write up for the Cybergun Colt M1911 A1, you can check out the below links where I have reviewed many variations of virtually the same blowback CO2 airgun made by KWC.
What can I say, most places are jack'n up their prices and we seem to keep lowering them!
Now I know some of you are going to say, "why are these guns so much lower cost in the US than in Canada?" You can blame that one on the money grabbers along the way when we have to ship and import many products from the US to Canada. In fact our supplier is exactly the same for all the Cybergun products in both Canada and the US, it just costs a lot more for us to land them here in Canada , and you guessed it, we pass that extra cost right back to you our beloved Canadian customers :)
So back to the good news for our US customers...
If you have not already picked up one of these amazing Replica CO2 Blowback BB pistols then make sure to do so now that they are at an all time low price point:
For those in the US, we just got some more Cybergun Tanfoglio Witness 1911 BB Pistols so if you had one on back order you should be getting a shipping confirmation email in the next few of days. And if you've been waiting for inventory then grab one up while you can!
Yet another option for you when looking to purchase a KWC/Cybergun Colt model 1911 or Beretta/Taurus M92. We started out with the Cybergun Tanfoglio Witness 1911 and GSG 92, then added the KWC non-licensed versions. Now we give you yet another option, the Cybergun distributed Swiss Arms P1911 and Swiss Arms P92, same BB guns but brandishing the Swiss Arms markings and licensing.
At the end of the day all of these blowback air pistols are basically the same, all of them are made by KWC, all are made to the same quality and all are totally awesome.
It may just come down to which one we have in stock or if you want that super clean look then go for the KWC model as the slides on the non-licensed versions tend to have no markings or warning instructions on them.
Every once in a while something goes wrong and your favorite BB shooter stops working as it should :( One of the most common problems I see with many of the full blowback BB and Airsoft pistols are BB's getting stuck in the gas tube. This is because this style of gun loads a BB into the breach area of the barrel every time you rack the slide forward. Of course this is only when there are BB's in the magazine.
The semi auto style of these guns is similar to that of a real gun, the blowback operates the slide which in turn moves back and then forward and loads a BB into the chamber. With a real gun, if you where to rack the slide manually again without shooting it, the chambered round would be ejected by the extractor but with a BB gun there is no extractor because there is no spent shell to eject. So multiple BB's can be loaded into the chamber area of the barrel overloading it and if the BB's have nowhere to go they just jam up and often go back into the gas tube which can cause all kinds of problems...
In this Cybergun KWC Tanfoglio Witness 1911 Stuck BB Removal Tutorial Video, I show you how to remove a BB or even multiple BB's from the gas tube area which in short requires; the removal of the slide and guid rod and spring so that you can push the gas tube forward and shake the BB out of the front of the gas tube.
Watch my Vimeo Video on how to remove a stuck BB from the Gas Tube on my Tanfoglio Witness 1911.
The KWC/Cybergun Model 1911 Blowback BB Pistols and Airsoft Pistols are very popular and so I tend to get lots of questions about them like: Are they the same quality? What version shoots the best? How do I remove the white warning lettering? Can I get one in an Airsoft version? Can I add a laser or tactical light? Can I change the grips...
So in this YouTube video I compare all four existing KWC and Cybergun model 1911's showing you the Cybergun Tanfoglio Witness 1911 in 4.5mm Steel BB, the KWC Model 1911 and Model 1911 A1 Tac also in 4.5mm Steel BB and lastly the KWC Model 1911 in 6mm Airsoft plastic BB.
Watch my Vimeo Video of these four KWC and Cybergun Model 1911 4.5mm Steel BB and Airsoft CO2 Blowback Pistols:
I have talked about how KWC and Cybergun are really the same product and that Cybergun and KWC products in many cases are really the same gun but with some versions having slightly different markings on the guns themselves.
Today I show you a new 4.5mm Steel BB gun we just brought into the store very closely related to the Cybergun Tanfoglio Witness 1911, or otherwise known as the KWC Model 1911. This new airguns is a Tactical version of the Model M1911 and it goes by the name Model M1911 A1 Tac. It shares the same internal parts as the Tanfoglio Witness 1911 including the 4.5mm Steel BB magazine but the Tactical version is all black and has several updated modern parts that you would not find in a traditional 1911 A1 45 auto replica: Like the tactical trigger, hammer, adjustable white dot sights and accessory rial. This gun would make an awesome IPSC trainer for sure.
At this point there is no 6mm Airsoft version but you can get the KWC Model 1911 and M92 in 6mm Airsoft all metal versions.
I also compare my GSG 92 4.5mm Steel BB pistol I reviewed in the past and show you that it is identical to the KWC same M92 version with the exception of some marking on the slide. Many people even prefer the KWC branded models as they do not have the rather offensive white warning instructions all over them.
So if you're in the market for one of these super popular KWC/Cybergun blowback ultra realistic BB and Airsoft pistols you do have some options to consider...

I've had lots of requests to review the Daisy Winchester Model 11 and to give my opinion how it stacks up with the Cybergun Tanfoglio Witness 1911. I will be doing a full review of the Daisy Winchester Model 11 Colt 45 1911 replica shortly but wanted to kick things off with my comparison portion.
Your best off to simply watch my Vimeo Video Comparison of the Tanfoglio Witness 1911 and Winchester Model 11 but here are my thoughts on some of similarities, strengths and weaknesses for both 1911 syled airguns.
Similarities:
Both are good replicas of the classic Colt 45 1911 semi auto pistol.
Both shoot 4.5mm Steel BB's and use standard 12 gram CO2.
Both are mostly metal and weigh close to 2 pounds with the Cybergun Tanfoglio Witness weighing about 40 grams more.
Both come in a nice cardboard box.
Both have blowback operation with slides that lock back after the last shot.
Both have true 1911 styled single action only triggers.
Strengths:
The Winchester Model 11 has the higher feet per second rating and gets more shots per CO2 (410fps vs 320fps).
The Tanfoglio Witness 1911 has a full size drop out metal magazine that holds the BB's and CO2.
The Winchester Model 11 is more economical to buy and shoot.
The Tanfoglio Witness 1911 has a more realistic "full" blowback operation.
The Winchester Model 11 has less intrusive warning markings on the slide.
The Tanfoglio Witness 1911 has a working Grip Safety.
The Winchester Model 11 is made in Japan.
The Tanfoglio Witness 1911 can be field stripped similar to a real 1911.
Both have fairly high capacity magazines (16 BB's for the Winchester and 18 BB's for the Tanfoglio).
Weaknesses:
The Winchester Model 11 has a funky extra button on the thumb safety?
The Tanfoglio Witness 1911 tends to use a lot of CO2 with less average fps.
The Winchester Model 11 has more free-play (wiggle) in the slide.
The Tanfoglio Witness 1911 magazine are more expensive and can be hard to find at times.
All in all I really like both guns, and what really counts is how they feel and shoot and after a quick outside testing with the Daisy Winchester Model 11, it seemed to shoot and work pretty good for me. Realists may prefer the Cybergun Tanfoglio Witness 1911 because it is more realistic in terms of how it's built and how it functions but as a daily shooting gun, the Daisy Winchester Model 11 hits harder and gets more shots per CO2, all while still giving the shooter a very realistic 1911 styled shooting experience.

The bad news is we ran out of one of our most popular air pistols, the Cybergun Tanfoglio Witness 1911, but the good news is you can preorder one right now and save $20! We have an expected arrival date of mid July but this is not written in stone as there are things we juts have no control over in this crazy world we live in... What I can tell you is that if you don't order now and wait for them when they come in, we might already be sold out and if you do get one you will pay $20 more than you needed to!
If you live in the US we are also expecting stock to arrive right around mid July so hang on and yes you can now preorder one also...
One question I get asked often is "Which are my favorite airguns?" or "What are my top 5 gun choices?" I have done my best to avoid answering this question because it's a very hard question to answer and to be truthful on any given day I may come up with a different selection of guns as there are just so many great airguns out there!
So today I took a bunch out and shuffled through them all to see if I could come up with five of my top picks, well at least for today that is, and I'm pretty happy with my selection (Umarex Desert Eagle - ASG CZ 75 P-07 Duty - Baikal MP-654K Makarov - Cybergun Tanfoglio Witness 1911 - ASG Dan Wesson 6 Inch Sliver). I know for a fact they are some excellent choices and if you happen to own or plan on buying one then I'm sure you will agree wiht me.
So checkout this Vimeo Video Review where I go through them and explain what I like about each gun, and why they made my Top 5 Airgun Pick.
One question I get asked all the time is to give my feedback on guns and in most cases I am asked to compare two or three guns with each other and come up with a definitive answer as to which on is the best or "which one should I buy?"
In this Vimeo Video I talk a bit about how I feel answering these questions because in many situations the guns being compared can not always be ranked on a scale as one being better then the other. Many times each gun offers its own set of positive and negative features and it really comes down to what features are most suited to your needs. Your needs may be very different then mine
Often it can be as simple as what style or look do you prefer because the guns in question may share the same features and benefits.
UPDATE: The 4 inch Black and 6 inch Silver Dan Wesson Revolvers are now back in Stock!
First, the bad news... We are sold out in our Canada Store of some of our most popular Airguns; this includes most of the ASG Dan Wesson revolvers along with the STI Duty One, and the very popular Cybergun Witness 1911.

I want to thank everyone again for taking part in this Contest-Giveaway, I really noticed a boost in Subscribers and even some more traffic on the my ReplicaAirguns.com Website!
100 YouTube Videos! Can you believe it? About a year ago I started actively making videos for my YouTube Channel and here we are today with my 100th YouTube video.
And not only does this video mark my 100th video uploaded, but I also reached several other milestones pretty much at about the same time:
2,000,000 Video Views
50,000 Channel Views
2500 Subscribers.
Before I get into the contest giveaway I just wanted to recap where this all began and where I am now...
About four years ago I uploaded my "Worlds Smallest Full Auto BB Gun" YouTube video just for fun and when I checked back a few months later it had what I thought was crazy amount of views (Something like 20,000 or so). Now it's getting close to 400,000 hits! skip ahead a few more years to just over a year ago and I got to thinking, why not upload a few more airgun videos since people seem to like them and I like making and talking about airguns.
After several videos I figured I might as well start a "website - blog" and place my YouTube videos on it along with some written reviews and articles, that's when ReplicaAirguns.com was born. Skip ahead to around February of this year and kind of by accident I started selling a few hard to get air guns and blank guns to kind of test the waters and I found that there was a definite market for them here in North America and that my viewers where also shoppers :)
Jump ahead to present day and and as you can see in my Replica Airguns Store, I have a nice selection of mostly replica Air and Blank Guns along with some accessories for my shopping viewers to choose from. And all of this is keeping me so busy that this is all I do now, make videos, work on my website and web-store and of course I spend a great deal of time answering questions from my YouTube viewers and Website visitors and customers.
OK, so let's get back to the contest! I am giving away a Cybergun Tanfoglio Witness 1911 CO2 4.5mm BB pistol to one of my lucky Subscribers, so how does one go about entering this contest - Giveaway for a chance to win?
